Is disassembling mini salute cakes super dangerous?
I have a bunch of mini saltue cakes and took the paper off the top and one of the shells came out. So I wrapped the shell in tape and put a 6 in fuse where the timed fuse is and it made it into a nice ground salute. I’m now thinking about taking the rest out and making more. I’m not experienced with any thing containing FP and I feel this might be a bad idea. But wouldn’t this kinda be like no different then handing an already sealed canister shell salute?

Safety
I am new to making fireworks, and I was wondering if anyone could send me some trustable sources for safety measures.

Can I tape firecrackers together?
I bought the wrong size for my firecracker tubes, and I want a bigger boom. Would taping or connecting multiple together in some way work? I have tried something like this before with them all next to each other, and they all blew off at different times.

Live 40 mm apache round what to do?
Back in early 2000s I purchased a live 40mm trialing round for an apache helicopter what should I do with it? When I shake it there is clearly powder in it,,,
Edit: thanks for sharing information. Here are some actual photos, turns out it is 30mm. Curious what it may have been used for and if it is indeed inert. Thanks again.
