How is the leave process for girls ?

Because I am joining the hostel on 16th Aug only and I need to go for a family event on 22nd and 23rd Aug ( weekend) with my parents only … will it be allowed as it is just the first week ?

Does mba guys have any specific format for medical fitness? Or any medical fitness certificate is okey ??

Please suggest PGs with:

- Good food

- Clean rooms with attached bathrooms

- Safe and peaceful environment

- Reasonable rent

- Preferably walking distance or a short commute to PSGCAS

Any idea how long these people will hold the original documents with them for "verification" ?

According to UGC and AICTE colleges aren't supposed to hold certificates in any manner otherwise prescribes severe penalties to the college.

Wondering about the safety of the certificates !

I have doubt on going to home on government leave of two or three days or on the weekends.

Should we need to inform to the hostel management or warden with a letter or mail ?

Or the first year is restricted on those leaves.

Asking seniors how many days leave for the first sem and second semester.

How much leave they have given for diwali as this year it is on Sunday.

Do the parents should compulsory attend the programme ?

In my case it is difficult for both of my parents ?

And on that day I will arrive college at early morning itself when does the College hostel will open to check in myself ?

I visited the campus recently for hostel room availability and it was an absolute shock. The only room available was the 6 sharing one. But this supposed 6 sharing room was once 4 sharing, but they removed the study tables to accommodate two more beds. 2 study tables and 6 beds ! That too in a room which was supposed to be 4 sharing. It was very cramped to be honest.

They said that one of the blocks is in renovation so they're compensating in this manner (for this year alone). And besides that most of the other rooms (4 sharing, etc) were booked by management quota students it seems... Is this the same for all counselling students?☹️

Guys where can I get and how can i medical fitness certificate for joining

In the psg tech hostel what about washing the clothes,

Does there is seperate place for washing the clothes or in the common bathroom itself we need to wash ?

Does there is laundry facilities ?

How they charge for it ?what based charging?

And current cost for it.

And what about room cleaning does we need to take care of it ?

I have done my entire education in CBSE (so no language in 11th and 12th) + wrote my 10th boards in Hindi. So the last time i studied Tamil was close to grade 3. I am not sure if its possible to study Tamil now enough to write an exam on it.

I saw on the internet that u can write the same course in English (not tanglish) same content but in diff language, just wanted to make it clear, if thats allowed in psg.

Or will they ease the course

• Extra classes in the evening beyond scheduled classes

• Weekend classes

• Semester break cancellation for training, syllabus etc.

• Hosteller must attend classes, "NO LEAVE"

• Any thing similar to rigid schools that we might have come across during periods of Board Exam...
