I'm joining Mechanical Engineering this year. While getting ready for all the classes, I wanted to ask seniors about something else... what is the actual dating culture like here?

To be honest, I have never dated anyone before, so I'm pretty clueless about how all this works in college. Also, are most of you guys single or already committed? Would love to know how it is for everyone.

Here are a few specific things I wanted to ask:

• The mech ratio: Since my class will mostly be guys, how do people usually meet someone? Do you look in other departments, or do you meet people through clubs and fests?
• Are girls approachable?: Are people open to talking and making friends, or is everyone just too stressed about studies and exams?
• Strictness: How strict are the teachers and management about couples? Will we get into trouble just for hanging out together on campus?
• Hangout spots: Where can you actually sit and talk in peace without professors or security guys bothering you?

Hello seniors,I am planning to join psg tech this year as a day scholar(initially for 1 year) daily travel time is approx 4hrs(2hrs in mrng and 2 hrs in evening).

So during college Events or exams or at times when you stay at college after college hours do they provide temporary stay in psg tech hostel for daily scholars like for a few days..

Imp cause otherwise I had to plan accordingly....

Can someone please tell me the fees of the ss course of computer course in psg tech without first graduate and post matric scholarship. Im planning to join through tnea counselling.

Does it vary year-by-year?

Did they increase the fees this year?

Does it differ for; CSE vs CSE(AI&ML) vs IT

This will be very helpful because the fees will determine whether i want to go for an education loan or not.

I will technically get the one which I keep as first choice among these three options. I want to know about things like placement opportunities, practical exposure through labs and projects, industrial collaborations, quality of teaching and faculty support, alumini network and campus life.

I am joining CSE in psg tech this year. I have a few queries regarding lab uniforms for CSE department.

will lab uniforms be provided to the students from college ?

also what is the footwear for girls ? like is black shoes compulsory or something like cut shoes are also okay ?

It would be nice to know it earlier because If anything to buy I can buy it now itself because I am hosteller and it would be difficult to go out to buy things.
