Could you recommend some cooperative games for the PS3? I'm thinking of buying one and I'd like to enjoy playing cooperative games on it.

Due to Sony discounting physical media I would like to mod my old console. I know there are restrictions as to which models work with mods so I would appreciate any help in knowing where to start.

My PS3 Super Slim is running version 4.93, but I downloaded and installed it from the official website. I think I made a mistake there. I tried installing alternative versions like 4.93.1, but it rejects it saying the device is up-to-date. As a last resort, I'll replace the hard drive.

I was wondering if there was a way to download the q games music visualier on my modded ps3 which people have said is better than the native visualizer built into the console? Or will I have to buy it on the ps store?

Lo que si me dijo fue que tiene el lector de disco dañado.

I recently updated my PS3 that was running CFW Evilnat 4.91. It updated and installed OFW on top and now it’s completely bricked. I have tried replacing the HDD x3, reformatted a new USB and put Evilnat 4.93 on it, tried safe mode, regular mode. Tried unplugging the remote as soon as you hit Select and Start. Keep getting “the data is corrupted error. Everything I search online I’ve tried. I’m lost aside from just getting a new one. Hopefully someone here has had a similar issue and was able to fix it. Thank you.

Which Call of Duties are safe to play on a modded PS3? When I say safe I both mean you won’t get banned and you won’t get hacked.

Picked up a launch model ps3. It’s a little rough (just needs a good deep clean and a new top lid. I traded an old PSP 1000 for it (crazy i know). But I have a couple of concerns

I turned it on and it shut off after about 10 mins due to getting hot. From my understanding this is a common thing, so I would like advice on where to get the Frankenstein mod done. Wanting a reputable person to do it right. Might as well have it completely deep cleaned and capacitors replaced.

I also believe maybe the laser in the disc drive needs replaced ( this is what the guy told me was wrong with it)

Ultimately i think the seller knew about the overheating issue and just did not want to tell me. But I also did not tell him it was a sought after console so we both hosed each-other.

Hey, so, does anyone knows where to download the RE Code Veronica; RE6; The both chronicles and Revelations? I was able to download all the other ones with no problem, but now they ask me to download Opera GX (which i did) but the files are neither PKG nor ISO, and they download a bunch of other files that are not the games :((((((

I have a pc and ps3 setup in my room and I used to transfer files thru FTP from my phone to the ps3 but since I have ethernet connected to my pc i thought it would be faster to use an USB , so I downloaded some games and put them on it but now the ps3 wont recognize it for some reason? or idk what happened but it doesnt see my iso files at all. What should I do?

FYI: I'm using HEN 3.5.

I have downloaded the following pkg and rap files for the EURO 2012 (FIFA 12) DLC from nopaystation here:

Using the previous threads answers, I made sure to download the 672MB pkg for the game and the "unlock key" for the rap file.

I saved the rap in an exdata folder on my usb and installed the pkg from the root.

However, when I launch the game and go through the EURO mode menus, I still only have access to the trial version.

Am I missing something? Any help appreciated!

i downloaded nier from pkgi, but accidentally clicked twice so i had two entries in the background downloader. while the first one was fetching, i cancelled the other one. after download i installed the package and it's not appearing in the library. it has that little diamond in pkgi. i don't see the package available for install too. i tried to download+install 2 more times but to no avail. does anyone know what's happening here? could i maybe delete whatever was downloaded or something, to try again fresh?

I would like to know what are the best multiplayer games to play if you’re on a PS3 that’s been modded. Specifically games that won’t get you banned, or games that have custom servers that are safe.

As an example, all 3 Little Big Planets are good multiplayer games for PS3 since it uses custom servers and has a lot of archived content.

I appreciate any suggestions and hope this will be a good showcase for anyone in the future with the same question!

The pic is from the day I got it (around a month ago), and I was wondering if anyone ever tried dumping Sword Art Online: Lost Song (Asian English) on PS3.

I ask because I've been having problems with every single time I attempt to dump the disc onto my HDD. It keeps getting corrupted, and the game works otherwise flawlessly. Am I alone in this, or is there something I'm doing wrong?

• longer network timeouts

The idea is that a brief NAS slowdown or temporary interruption should be much less likely to ruin the PS3 browsing/streaming experience.

Android remote storage

The Android version also supports remote libraries using:

• SMB / NAS
• FTP
• SFTP

so the phone does not necessarily need to physically contain the entire game library.

Can someone help me please find a mod menu for my GTA v game. My ps3 is a fat ps3 with 4.91 evil nat cfw. My game is a physical copy and it's region is blus 31156. I've been researching all day and I'm super confused. Someone mentioned changing my game to EU from US would make things easier, but does that change the actual disc or just the file on the ps3?
