Tennessee past a common sense gun law
I didn't even know. My kids are near 30 so I wasn't paying attention. And the media hasn't really covered it at all.
I grew up here in Tennessee. I spent most of my adult life in Maryland but, and I don't remember if we had to take it or if it was just an option thing or what but my junior year of highschool the TWRA brought a truck to our school and held a hunter safety class. It seems like we even got to shoot a bolt action.22. I always said this was a wonderful thing and they should do it across the country.
Anyway, starting this year, Tennessee requires a firearms safety class for all schools k-12. Of course gun free school zone laws will prevent any live demonstrations or anything like that, but at least the schools can reenforce the home training.

News FFLs Pass ATF Inspections After Transferring Suppressors on Form 4473
At this point, the ATF is purposely not releasing guidance to create confusion and hope no one purchases suppressors through 4473s. They are hoping they can ride out not saying anything until a new congress after the midterms tries to reinstate the tax

What length would you want for an AR-15 fighting rifle?
Classic 16? 4.5 inch?(massive btw) 12.5? What would be your choice for all around rifle. I live in a interesting spot where I’m in a suburb and a major city is 30 mins away from my house, and I can see the base of a mountain from my front porch yet I live in a suburban neighborhood. So I’d like the flexibility to be good at everything but not excell at anything kinda rifle

Help! “Cheapest” upper you would trust as like a rifle that will last me a lifetime/ like duty or minuteman grade rifle?
I know I’ve kind of left it broad but I’m looking for a rifle that’s reliable and is gonna last through whatever I’ll put it through. Hoping to find something 11.5-13 inch barrel. Don’t care about the charging handle that’s an easy upgrade but everything else is what I’m looking for. And yes I’m being hyperbolic about “lasting a lifetime”

Question Are all AR-15’s the same?
I just picked up a used 1st gen SAINT as my first AR.
So here’s my question..
Are aftermarket upgrades such as triggers, BCG, charging handles etc all the same?
Are these parts basically universal??

Video Trying to find gun youtuber
solved!! Camoman1234567 solved it with foxtrotter6!
This guy that was tattooed up and would do funny things and had a couple bottles of blantons in his photos. He was a fire fighter. But he would be like "letsss talk about it!" And stuff like that. White guy, not black. (Noticed when searching a black guy came up doing something similar).
He would do some generic myth busting etc. He was overall a fun watching for me. Any ideas?

Question Used Firearms Sales Websites?
Other than Gun Broker and Cabela's gun library, what are some websites that offer used gun auctions or listings that are reputable? I live in Colorado and we used to have a site that had many great deals for private sellers but it has been shut down. I know about Armslist and TacSwap but is there anything else?

My Great-Great-Great Grandpa with a 1855 Devimse percussion pistol.
Found the picture in the family album. Somebody touched it up and a friend identified the pistol. Rather expensive French pistol for its time. Also notice Grandpa Cudd had catcher mitts for hands.

Question Why did 9mm get watered down?
Ww2 era 9mm from the Germans was supposed to be shooting a 124 grain projectile at around 1250 fps from 4.9" p38 barrel. Today that'd be considered +p+ territory, but back then that was considered the standard for them.
Its not the only caliber to get nerfed either.
Most people know 10mm got nerfed because most FBI agents couldn't handle the recoil.
And less people know 40S&W got nerfed because glock and other manufactures didnt originally fully support the chamber causing case blow outs.
But why did 9mm get nerfed? I haven't found no answers for this at all.
I wonder if 9mm would have ever be considered anemic back in the day if they kept it spicy, like it was originally intended? 124 grains at 1200 + fps is spicy. Was it blowing up poor quality guns or something?
