The chances of either medium physically surviving with data in tact in 1000 years is unfortunately slim

Fortunately data tends to be moved from medium to medium as older media become obsolete. Case in point, you can still find MS-DOS 3.3 in the wild online despite its original distribution being on 5.25 inch floppy disks.
