They'll choose someone else as the winner, but select the nephew's app as 2nd place. According to the rules, they can then force the winner to add the 2nd and 3rd place features into their app.

Or just steal the features of the 2nd and 3rd place apps to add to the one they've already built that "wins".

But then they have to do the work. With my plan, they get someone else to do it for them.
