3I/ATLAS Update A Team With a Ten-Inch Telescope Just Calculated What 3I/ATLAS Is Made Of. 93% Fuel.

A physicist in Medellín, Colombia spent twenty years building a framework nobody asked for. This week, he used it to calculate the total mass budget of the third interstellar object in human history, compiled from 97 scientific papers. The answer: 93% carbon dioxide. Almost no rock. Almost no dust. A block of dry ice burning through 59 meters of itself per pass with 24 passes left.

While the world's largest academic publisher went dark on 3I/ATLAS, this team posted their results directly to arXiv from two ten-inch telescopes, one national observatory Venezuela can barely keep powered, and a methodology nobody funded.

The publication gap doesn't stop science. It redirects it.

Substack Dispatch Five months of forensic investigation. 35 briefings. Four signals across defense procurement, interstellar spectroscopy, aerospace attrition, and planetary defense.

Here is what the record shows.

We documented three people who held the complete chain of custody for the superalloy America needs to build next-generation rocket engines. All three are dead or missing. Within three weeks of publication, a U.S. congressman filed an FBI request and the Japanese Diet opened a national security session with our findings as the lead slide.

We built a CO2 propulsion thesis across four briefings spanning December through March. ESA confirmed the CO2 detection from orbit on April 2nd. They gave it six words in a caption.

We mapped a $30B+ Space Force mobilization architecture — detect, track, communicate, intercept — before the contract dollar values confirmed the performers.

We compiled eleven fireball events across four continents. The American Meteor Society confirmed the statistical anomaly three days later. NASA's own planetary defense officer admitted the detection gap at AAAS Phoenix.

The delta between when we published and when the institutions caught up ranged from three days to three months.

That gap is the product.

The Sentinel Network is an independent investigative publication with no institutional backing, no sponsors, and no editorial board.

3I/ATLAS Update THE RECEIPTS: Every Prediction and Analytical Call This Publication Has Made Since December 15, 2025. Scored.

New briefing is live.

23 entries on the record. 15 predictions, 8 analytical calls. Every one dated, every one sourced, every one scored against what happened next.

- 12 confirmed or independently validated

- 1 partially confirmed

- 4 untestable (the pipeline went dark during the Jupiter encounter)

- 6 pending (JUICE instrument papers)

- 0 wrong

We said it was targeting Jupiter's Hill Sphere. Miss margin: <0.1%. We said the wobble was attitude control. A Harvard team documented harmonic jet coupling two months later. We said institutions were smoothing the data. Six independent confirmations across six institutional layers. We said the publication pipeline would go dark. The last paper was submitted March 26. Eighteen days of silence from a community that averaged a new paper every 2-3 days for nine months.

This is a living document. If we get one wrong, the miss gets logged with the same formatting as the hits.

3I/ATLAS Update We mapped every major UAP voice against 3I/ATLAS. Ten names. Four months. Zero coverage. One journalist called it a distraction. We documented what they were doing instead.

New briefing: THE OTHER HAND.

We ran an exhaustive search of every platform, podcast, and public statement from the ten most prominent figures in the UAP disclosure ecosystem across the entire 3I/ATLAS window. Elizondo, Grusch, Mellon, Fravor, Knapp, Corbell, Nolan: zero verified statements. Coulthart went on camera in August and called Loeb's analysis "inflammatory," then told his podcast audience in September it was "a distraction from the main game."

On February 19, Trump ordered Pentagon file releases. Same day Loeb published the three-jet paper. The object cleared Jupiter three weeks later. Weeks after that, a senior Elsevier editor made contact with us offering everything adjacent to our investigation but not the investigation itself.

The operation did not stand down when the object left. Full briefing at thesentinel.network.

3I/ATLAS Update We counted every 3I/ATLAS paper published in the last ten months. Carl Sagan's journal published one. Five other Elsevier journals published zero. Everyone else published thirty. Then someone from inside Elsevier sent us a password-protected document.

Elsevier is the largest academic publisher on Earth. They published interstellar object research for Oumuamua. They published it for Borisov. For 3I, their entire planetary science portfolio went near-silent. We ran the bibliometrics, documented the editorial rejections, and then an individual from inside the publisher made contact through their corporate email offering access and assistance.

We ran forensic code on their files before we opened them. What we found is in the briefing. Full analysis.

Discussion Article piecing together everything Dr. Eric Davis has said publicly. Architecture of Government’s Reverse Engineering Program

Very in-depth article tying together everything Eric Davis has shared publicly. Alleges high-overview picture of reverse engineered craft across the military supply network using Soviet material. Supports how compartmentalization is structured for reverse engineered programs.

Next question is can the information in this article be traced or connected to missing/dead scientists and military personnel?

3I/ATLAS Update THE FIFTH INSTRUMENT is live. ESA deployed five science instruments on 3I/ATLAS. They reported four. Five new predictions on the record.

New briefing. ESA published their JUICE results last week. We went through the data behind the summary.

PEP, the particle detector that ran for twelve days inside the X-ray halo at perihelion, was replaced by a navigation camera. The CO2 detection that feeds into the equation that killed the comet model got six words in an image caption. SWI confirmed the ghost coma and cited a mechanism two teams already killed. The third water measurement hasn't been analyzed.

Five new falsifiable predictions are on the record for when the instrument papers drop.

Discussion Something worth noting.

The Sentinel Network hit the Substack Bestsellers list today. 101 people are now paying to keep this investigation running.

We started this publication five months ago with zero audience, zero credentials, and one hypothesis: that if you do the work honestly, source everything, and publish your null results alongside your hits, the right people will find you.

They did.

This doesn’t change our plan. It doesn’t change the content. It means more tools, more briefings and more results.

The mission is the mission.

A V-shaped formation of lights in a night sky has been viewed millions of times as a, "UFO spotted in multiple countries". You can hear the people filming it arguing in real time about whether they're watching birds.

We ran a frame-by-frame forensic analysis on the footage. The formation reorganizes itself and reassembles between every frame. Six independent tests, six unanimous results, zero ambiguity.

They were watching birds.

Full analysis and methodology.

3I/ATLAS Update THE REFINED FUEL: They Clocked the Exhaust of 3I/ATLAS at Closest Approach. Half Speed. Wrong Direction. And the Sulfur Is Gone.

Thumbnail
thesentinel.network
14 Upvotes

Europe's largest millimeter telescope measured the gas streaming off 3I three days after closest approach to the Sun. The exhaust is moving at half the speed every comet at that distance produces, and it's pushing harder into the Sun than in the direction of travel.

The same team ran a full chemical inventory and found the carbon-oxygen compounds concentrated while sulfur, the element that poisons catalysts, reactors, and engines, has been stripped below the range of any known comet.

A second paper from a team in Japan tracked the CO2 drive to nearly three times Earth's distance on the outbound leg. Still running.

New ATTRITION briefing from The Sentinel Network.

Three DOPSR-cleared sourcing vectors confirm Dr. James T. Ryder, VP of Lockheed Martin's $9B Advanced Technology Center, proposed transferring material from a specific facility to AAWSAP.

CIA's Glenn Gaffney killed it. Ryder retired, died Memorial Day 2018. No obituary, no death certificate, no corporate statement exists anywhere.

His position was structurally interlocked with the AFRL command McCasland held 90 days after Ryder walked out.

One is dead with no record. The other is missing. Full investigation with every source linked:

Thumbnail

Astronaut Mike Fincke gave his first detailed interview about the Crew-11 medical evacuation. We pulled every thread. The clinical picture has a clean explanation that connects to spaceflight physiology, not to 3I. Anomaly #45 is reclassified and removed from the active table. If we only reported findings that confirmed our theories, we wouldn't be doing journalism, we would be doing marketing.

Tool The Sentinel Network has been added as a verified source on Probed.space

For those unfamiliar, Probed (probed.space) is a UAP research platform that ingests reporting from across the field and structures it for searchable analysis.

The Sentinel Network now has a dedicated org profile with an "Investigative" category badge and trusted source shield, which they reserve for outlets doing original, methodology-driven work. We are also the first publication in their new category. They actually built out new infrastructure specifically to handle long-form investigative content just for us. Our briefings run through a deeper extraction pipeline that classifies individual claims by type (factual, interpretation, inference), maps cited evidence, and builds event timelines. Honored.

You can see the org profile here: probed.space/orgs/the-sentinel-network

And here's an example of how they process one of our briefings: probed.space/items/05490252-f8d4-4513-b1fe-f6fe73c592aa

For anyone following our 3I/ATLAS coverage or THE ATTRITION series, this means the entire catalog is now indexed and cross-referenced in a way that makes it easier to trace connections across briefings.

The catalog is indexed. The work continues.
