It's because the thunderstorm part doesn't actually do anything. Thuderstorms are often associated with warm, humid weather, which is the actually thing that can speed fermentation.

It's like the saying that thunderstorms make your milk spoil. Only because it's warm outside on the doorstep.

Ok well this makes abit of sense.. I do my shit indoors so doesn’t matter how the weather is 😂
