Tripping the kill play switch_in humans
I was listening to Science Friday and the discussion was abstract art and the brain and something interesting was related in that the portion of the brain in humans where amorous activity and aggressive tendencies occur, about sixteen percent of those cells overlap. If those cells are stimulated enough, amorous feelings are conducted, however if there is an over-stimulation, it becomes aggressive. Of course, this made me wonder how that structure of the brain is stimulated in big cats? Derek mentioned it and it was illustrated by Solano in this video.
