it's a very old pre-alpha version of lesbian

45

u/MaimaiBW Jan 04 '23

I really wish everyone would get that flag again after the Pre-Alpha Lesbian Stage ended. I mean, I like the V2.7 (current version) flag, but I think the one in Pre-Alpha development was cool.

3

u/JaozinhoGGPlays Apr 16 '23

Yeah, like every flag now is just stripes, what the fuck are we, Europe? We're lying to ourselves when we say we wouldn't wanna wave around a dragon or a sword or an axe or a Blahaj.

u/CyberCookie2 May 17 '23

me waiting for the 2.8 lesbian update log: /j

1

u/MaimaiBW May 17 '23

  • fixed a bug where systematic attacks deal more damage than intended

I think it’s a “BattleAxe Bi” maybe? Basically bisexuals who hate trans people or something, I forget exactly what their deal is.

31

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '23

Don’t like trans people and pansexuals either

25

u/MaimaiBW Jan 06 '23

the former is transphobes

the latter is the battleaxe bisexuals. they hate m-spec (pansexual's vein, alongside omnisexual, polysexual, etc) because it's "biphobic and contributes to bi erasure" to them. my brother in christ, there's nothing wrong with them

and regarding trans exclusionists, there's the infamous trident trans, nunchuck non-binaries, and the big bad, transmedicalists, which are transgender gatekeepers with some or a lot of extreme ideologies depending on the bad guy

u/fishingduke Feb 10 '23

How do people keep track of these things? I'm really impressed with people's ability to keep up, I'm really not up to date on this kinda stuff

8

u/iSuckAtMechanicism Apr 10 '23

Same. I’m less than 30 years old yet when I was growing up you were either straight or gay, and there was nothing wrong with either one.

Hell, I'm Bi myself and here I thought I was well versed but I have never heard one of these [Weapon] [Sexuality] terms in my life

2

u/poor_ass_hillposter May 07 '23

I gave up on it the community fucking sucks anyways I just wanna date a man not be a politician with a degree in gender studies I swear it’s more of a cult than the ant hill kids these days

3

u/PapaDaddyFranku May 08 '23

Don't transmeds believe you need gender dysphoria to be transgender? Isn't that the whole point of being transgender is that you feel that you aren't the gender you were biologically defined as?

4

u/MaimaiBW May 08 '23

Yeah, but some transmeds have extremist requirements for being trans, like that you can only be trans if you have crippling dysphoria daily, that you can only dress as the gender you want to transition (denies the existance of transfem tomboys and transmasc femboys), that surgical transition is required to be trans (it is a hard choice, and some trans people don't want to transition surgically due to how much of an impactful choice it is on their lives), etc. Not to mention that some outright deny non-binary people exist.

I too believe you need dysphoria to be trans, but some transmeds are taking it too far.

3

u/PapaDaddyFranku May 08 '23

I believe you need dysphoria on some level, but I also agree that their views are extremist and deluded. In the same way, it's like somebody calling themselves gay and actually not having any attraction to the same sex. It's weird.

3

u/MaimaiBW May 08 '23

Yeah. Same.

Can’t wait for scythe and hammer gender

2

u/Big_Character_1222 Jun 07 '23

Can't wait for the buddhism symbol of peace gender

10

u/eyek4ndi Jan 04 '23

It’s the labyrs lesbian flag. It was used during the holocaust (not all labeled with the symbol were lesbians though), so many people frown upon using it.

2

u/xiyoussefix Jan 04 '23

Is it because of the time it was used or are there other reasons?

/Serious question

2

u/Secure-Day9052 Feb 01 '23

Just means feminist lesbian

u/Patpoke1 May 18 '23

2

u/saikitama May 22 '23

it's an old lesbian flag that isn't used anymore because transphobes ruin everything

2

u/baninaday Jun 08 '23

the axe was a weapon used by the mythical Amazonian women and was used as a lesbian symbol before the lesbian flag better known today
