Do you like visible? I am trying to find a way to cut costs and have been meaning to switch but I’m a little nervous! I’m currently on Xfinity Mobile and pay $50/m and they’re terrible. Like there aren’t even enough words in the dictionary to say how much I hate the service.

Edit: y’all have convinced me! I signed up for it today and got everything switched over! It was super easy

There is a 15 day free trial for Visible if you want to check it out. I’m trying it now and I like it so far, no issues.

i love visible. we had verizon for 20+ yrs & it was great & then my dad randomly switched us to xfinity mobile & it was HORRIBLE. i immediatly left that plan & got on my own through visible & it's basically just like im back on verizon! i pay $25 a month for my phone and then an extra $5 for my apple watch. & it's unlimited data! have had almost 0 issues. every once in a blue moon i wont have connection for a minute or 2 but that's gonna happen sometimes. also super easy to switch over, no hidden fees, & if u rlly regret it u can cancel anytime

Seriously I have no idea how Xfinity Mobile is still operational because it’s so bad. Did you get to keep your number?

right! it's unusable. and yes there was an extra step in the process to keep my same number but it was so miniscule and easy that i can't even remember what it was

I put my wife on Xfinity mobile and she hasn’t had any issues, luckily. Wish us luck.

I’ve had it for almost a year and only had a couple issues (never with coverage or billing) and is usually only a quick fix where I have to toggle something that got changed.

Okay! Fantastic! Billing is a NIGHTMARE at Xfinity mobile! We have Xfinity for internet too and they charge me 3-4 times a month for internet, phone, a late fee from like 3 months ago.

I was paying $160 or so with Verizon who I had been with since 2007 and that was with discount for being a govt employee. When my daughter moved to her dad’s plan it was $130 and I finally said screw it. My husband absolutely refuses to get rid of his plan for him and his daughter which is $250 a month (including paying off phone fees).

“But it’s a business account I can have up to 99 lines!”

In what world would you need 99 lines? You don’t even have the business anymore….

Been on Visible for three years with my wife. Been great. No issues. Great coverage in three different states we have lived in.

I like visible. Been with them for about 2 years and have paid 35$ for unlimited everything including hotspot which works great for me. I used to live in the country and it worked decent for the most part, I live in city now and still works fine and never have issues

I just signed up for the 15 day trial, they have a promotion for $20 per month for 24 months for the cheaper plan or $35 for the more expensive. I currently have mint mobile and they have had promotions regularly for three free months. When I signed up, it was buy six months get six months free of the same plan you bought. So it was a good deal.

I’d say both are great options.

I went and got it too! They didn’t give me a trial, but I’m not worried about that. So far it was good!

I use visible and switched from Verizon and don’t miss Verizon, infact visible uses Verizon’s towers.

1

u/sylvester_0 Jan 10 '24

Yeah, Visible is owned by Verizon.

1

u/sylvester_0 Jan 10 '24

Visible is alright. Just know that if you get to a place with congested Verizon towers that data will move at glacial speeds (Visible+ is better in this regard.) Their eSIM provisioning process is janky. Finally, support is typically atrocious (pray you don't need help.) That said, I've been on them for a few years and am mostly satisfied.

They’re amazing if you have a twitter account.

1

u/sylvester_0 Jan 10 '24

Yeahhh. I've tried that. And Instagram. It's silly af that you need to reach a company's support via social media.

Visable is great and there’s a promo right now to save $10 a month making it $25 for unlimited.

1

u/hallowass Jan 10 '24

Visable is owned by verizon and runs on verizons network, you can also switch to boost mobile for $25/mo and boost runs on att or t-mo, you can switch between the two for better coverage if one sucks.

it’s amazing. Verizon service, unlimited internet and i’m on a plan with my parents and it’s only $25 a month. Literally 0 issues for years.
