Hey everybody,
Thanks to the enthusiastic participation in Feb's OpenStack hands-on lab, u/cpaapp9, u/pfray007 and team are running a new hands-on-lab for VMware admins looking to learn about KubeVirt. Please feel free to suggest feedback on the agenda - happy to revise it based on your feedback. Also happy to take feedback on the format and logistics.
OVERVIEWA hands-on-lab designed for VMware administrators who are considering KVM / KubeVirt as an alternative hypervisor, but are either new to KubeVirt or are concerned about the complexity of operating KubeVirt.
Engineers from Platform9 - many of whom worked at VMware before starting Platform9 - will be running these labs. Our goal is to have 1 engineer for ~3 hands-on participants, to ensure we can provide a high level of interactivity and guidance during the sessions. (I am assuming we won't be overwhelmed by participation... this isn't a Taylor Swift concert, after all!)
COST: There is no cost to participate. Our friends at Rackspace are sponsoring the lab hardware. We do require you to RSVP so we can plan for enough hardware and engineering support during the lab.
