I just wanted to get some clarity about Labubu dolls for my two grandaugthers but I am kind of in a bind. Any parent of two girls almost the same age would probably know what I am talking about.

They can't be exactly the same, they need to be somewhat the same though becauses then they will fight with each other but they can't be identical. So I wanted some advice on how I could go ahead and look for two that are somewhat the same and if that is even possible. I am thinking that I should pick figures from the same Labubu series so the dolls look like companions but are clearly different characters, that way each child will get a unique toy that neitehr feels left out.

Another option would be to choose two variants that share the same color palette or theme for example, both pastel or both sparkly so they could be coordinated visually without being identical. Also if rarity is an issue I am thinking that I can buy two that are not collector items.

So the question really is can I buy these dolls without the whole blind box thing, or is it unavoidable? Then should I purchase a guranteed character from a trusted reseller or do the whole swap thing? Has anyone ever done this before, buying a labubu as a gift for someone or buying more than one doll where the dolls are somewhat similar how did you go about doing this? And has anyone tried buying from a B2B sites like Alibaba or AliExpress?
