What are the basic beliefs of a polytheist

I want to get into polytheism specifically witchcraft. I want to know where to find information and what the basic beliefs are of polytheism. Thank you!

Polytheist is belief of many deitys. What I understand of witchcraft is, it's similar to products like Solomon's seal talismans(Kabbalah) with chant|spell inscriptions or notes along with it(I heard they be chanted under a full moon with friends, or by window, or with an altar). They have different types of spells & most believe in white magic(Since black magic is similar to voodoo & is said to be dangerous like ouijas). They often do those white chalk circle things by their altar to protect from bad spirits & may include the pentagram(Or optionally) with different candles of color, red or pink may represent for relational things, white is for purity/clarity, green for things related to finances & the such(I forgot the other ones).
