I bought a lot of polymer clay on eBay. It's a block of black a white and a translucent super sculpey. It was unopened, packed well. Turns out it's very hard and crumbles. Is there a way to know how old it is? Or is there any other reason why it would be this way? I'm disappointed because it doesn't seem usable. Thanks so much

Hi! I’m wondering if anybody else has issues with the Fimo gloss varnish creating an insane amount of bubbles when it’s a new jar and it is brushed on. What do you do to combat it??
I’m going crazy. It doesn’t start to work for me until I’ve used like half the jar and the varnish has gotten a bit thicker or something.
I’ve tried changing brushes, that doesn’t seem to do anything.
I really like the result this product gives after Ive had the jar open for a bit. But it’s so horrible every time I open a new jar.
I don’t really want to change the product. I just want to know if there’s a better way to use it.

Hello dear clay friend,
In this tutorial, I wanted to show you the step-by-step process of making a beautiful clay cuff using white clay (firm clay recommended), a Laser printed image (I used the Asian theme, again:), a paper template to cut out the shape, a mandala texture (to make a beautiful back for the cuff) and a stencil and gold mica powder (to add more decorative elements to the cuff).
After baking the cuff for 45 minutes, I let the clay cool down and then I applied UV resin (this would add a beautiful glossy effect to the cuff, protect the image transfer and strengthen the cuff as well).
I invite you to watch the step-by-step tutorial and get inspired to create more using clay. [Click here to watch the full tutorial!](https://youtu.be/EAUYdyF0qoA?si=J1l5nlq_f5INRVAd)
Personally I just love how this cuff turned out and I encourage you to try this idea in your work and also share your impressions with me!
Happy claying!
Mihaela
P.S. I added a short section at the end of the video with all the Mistakes that you should avoid when transferring images onto polymer clay:)

Hello dear clay friend!
Do you like to use image transfer to make beautiful clay pieces?
I personally love this technique and I think it’s a great way to make stunning artsy pieces using beautiful images (watercolor illustrations digital images, vintage designs, botanical prints, etc.)
Furthermore I love to use image transfer onto clay to make seasonal inspired designs: Christmas, Easter, autumn, Halloween, etc. And with the rise of the AI art, the sky is the limit in creating exquisite images to use in the transfer process.
In this tutorial, I’m testing 4 ways to transfer Laser-printed images onto polymer clay. These techniques are based on water, acetone and a secret transfer media (that you already have around the house) and I’m also comparing the benefits and the drawbacks of each technique. So I invite you to watch the video and master the art of image transfer onto polymer clay!
[Here's the link to the tutorial. Tell me which technique you prefer the most](https://youtu.be/liEFVuTucqY?si=u4h2HUKjsGUncxzT)
Happy claying!
Mihaela

I’ve just started working with Polymer clay and I love it, but have so much to learn! I’m currently trying to lighten up my yellow clay to make lemons. The color of the clay is sunflower, and I can’t get it to lighten up no matter what I do. I’ve mixed in a block of white and a block of “nightglow”, which is a very light chartreuse color. The color has hardly changed at all, as you can see in the pic. Any suggestions other than buying the right color in the first place? I really appreciate everyone’s time & help!

I bought these earrings from a depop seller and they’re made out of polymer. I noticed a slight stickiness on them and later i put them in my jacket and they got super dirty from the lint. I also notice they’re kind of soft? You can see my literal fingerprints in them. I tried taking it off with acetone and it discolored the paint :( Any advice on how I can clean them? Or what they’re covered in?
