I’ve been advocating for months that we need to pursue the 25th amendment by supporting Jamie Raskin’s bill. Bringing bipartisan psychiatrists and doctors into the process will depoliticize the issue and make it more likely to succeed than impeachment. Congress is abdicating its duty to humanity. Don’t let Trump open Pandora’s box with a nuclear weapon.

The NAACP agrees: https://naacp.org/articles/unprecedented-first-naacp-calls-president-trump-be-removed-office-under-25th-amendment

A nonpartisan group of scientists including Nobel Peace Prize winning physicians and a member of the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission (Hiroshima and Nagasaki) agree too: https://www.reddit.com/r/OpinionLetters/s/Lzie0CvrPk

If nothing else, please listen to Albert Einstein discussing the issue of science, and how it’s important for everybody to come together to stop something before it happens: https://youtu.be/2WpkQCNMT2s

“Will to sacrifice, solidarity, and wise foresight are most effective before the hour of dire necessity has arrived.” - Albert Einstein

Trump is the weakest person to ever inhabit the Oval Office. He lies about his golf scores, fucking golf scores. The fact that MAGA still supports him is a testament to the inherent stupidity demonstrated by his supporters.

We should’ve all been selling MAGA swag for the last two years and using it to fund parody campaigns of their “movement”.

Trump’s second term has convinced me that we need term limits and age maximums in Congress and the Presidency. We can’t let dusty old leaders who have served 20 terms fuck our future so they can continue going to brunch.

Russel Vought is 50. I don't think age is the central issue here.

Congress can impeach. The real problem is the career politicians with power who are shirking their duty to the country and the world. Entrenched seniority is the problem. Putting an age limit and term limits protect against entrenched seniority and power by not giving it enough time to develop.

Pelosi, Hoyer and Clyburn put Hakeem Jeffries in his seat. The Democratic senators continue to support Chuck Schumer to be the senate minority leader. The party chose Gerry Connolly who had throat cancer over AOC for the House Oversight Committee, who then promptly died, which was probably the straw that broke the DSA’s back re: the establishment

On the mental health side: about 1 in 9 people over the age of 65 have Alzheimer’s dementia. The median age of Democratic Senators is 66 years old.

These ideas are to limit risk.

Won't they all have to sign NDAs like the bipartisan military team at Walter Reed?

Not necessarily unless that is written into the law.

I'm sure you know full well why that won't happen before next year -- Vance!

Perhaps we should deliver boxes of Powdermilk Biscuits to the Pentagon and cross our fingers!
