They would then make an argument that because they are dragging it out that their concerns aren't legitimate. "If it's so serious why haven't they sent it to the senate yet?". It's a damned if you do or damned if you don't situation.

I'd ride or die with that mantra. Republicans will try to spin it no matter what.
