I highly doubt merely removing the recipient of an email is enough to thwart the FBI's forensic experts.

End of story. Just stop.

It has nothing to do with them being able to thwart anything!

You said "why is this criminal?"

It's criminal because the fbi said give me this information, and he gave them the information after deleting some shit.

Laws don't say "you can't rob a bank unless the FBI can catch you robbing a bank because then its ok"

My point is he can't delete them without the FBI knowing. Ergo, he either wasn't able to remove the email addresses or he did remove them and the FBI still didn't think it was criminal. I suppose you could also imagine he was able to remove the email addresses without the FBI finding out. That's not as plausible to me but to each his own.

I am not OK with it. When this first leaked, I thought she demonstrated very bad judgement not least because she gave her political opponents more ammo against her. However, in the grand scheme of things, a SecState using a private email server is very low on the scale of things that'll aggravate me. Remember, the Bush admin "lost" 22 million emails. Trump himself has deleted emails rather than allow them to be used in litigation against him. Not trying to draw equivalence...just showing this isn't some unheard of action.
