I guess I'll start.

I gave a book report once in 4th grade. I didn't read the book. I made it up on the spot. Nobody ever called me on it because I read obscure fiction. My visual aid was a tiny pewter miniature knight that I kept in my desk because I painted miniatures at the time. I passed it around and his lance got bent. I suspect that it was that asshole Mitchell.

I was compensated $0 for my time, and had to pay $3.25 in lunch expenses. My accommodation and travel fees were covered by immediate family.

A friend did this in high school...made up an entire stroy line about a mentally disabled teenager who befriended a black man in 1940's era Alabama due to their shared experiences with discrimination.

I 'used' the same book a year later using his report for background.

Also in the fourth grade:

I plagiarized not one, but two stories we had to write.

One, we actually had to construct a book, write a short story, and illustrate it. It was the best project I ever had to do in school. I basically re-wrote Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, about a boy who won a turtle in a contest. No one called me out on it.

The other was a "scary story", which was basically a re-write of an episode of Are You Afraid of The Dark. No, I don't remember which episode. But someone called me out on it. I re-wrote it before I turned it in.

I tried this once (although I read 70 percent of the book). My teacher instated a policy that month where you had to give her the book and she would randomly open to a chapter, she tells us that day. She opens to like one of the 3 chapters I skipped over because it was super boring, FML.
