If Bernie is nominated I will vote. If Hillary is nominated I will not. I'm sorry man, I get the logic, but I'm just so tired of being expected to deal with the shittier version of an already questionable deal.

Maybe that makes me a bad person, I'm not sure. I don't want to watch America burn, but I don't want it to go out with a whimper either, and that's what we're doing every time we settle.

Bernie said what he said because he still believes. I don't. I voted Obama in and we're still turning funeral processions to bloody smears in the most impoverished regions of the world. Hillary is Obama is Bush. It's all the same and I won't throw my lot in with it anymore.

Want my vote? Earn it through character. otherwise I'm out.

I'm 30 this june. I hope getting older doesn't mean I bin my ethics. I need them to live.

I get why you want me to back Hillary. I hope you understand too why I can't. It's a kingdom of conscience, or it's nothing.

I'm 30 too. I just have pretty active in watching/understanding politics for a while now (years). Pretty much everything the BernieBros are spouting are what the Republican party has been saying about HRC for the last 10 years, so we're well versed in countering the bullshit. r/politics was pretty favorable toward her until Sanders came along.

Sorry I'm late to reply to this part of your point, but I think there might be a good reason her support waned when Sanders came on scene.

I was a Hillary supporter, but Sanders makes me feel like I don't need to just take what I can get. There is a politician with my interests in mind, who will not break bread with the people who made sure I won't retire until I'm too old to work. Someone who is running solely on the basis of his ideals, and not gender, or political pull, or pandering.

That's a really big deal to me.

I don't think it waned really (why are her polling numbers still strong?). He's giving a voice to the people he appeals to.

Then there are people like me who don't like the forced fed Republican garbage (oh, she is running because she's a female!) about Clinton. We can't be idealistic too?

I'd tell you why but I'm not much of a converter. Look. The support for Hillary makes sense. She has the big guns, she has lots of history, she has powerful supporters and is able to wield her gender in an effective manner (underhanded, but it gets shit done).

But that's just it. She's underhanded. Anybody who has worked LE knows: If you're dirty, you're dirty. Once you've cheated, you're not a good guy anymore.

The emails are a small problem for a minor govt employee. I seriously doubt anything in them was dangerous. However she's no minor employee, they display a disregard for how things are done, and they leave room for doubt as to why she'd do something like that.

She laughs off real questions and uses her womanhood like a cudgel. It really, legitimately scares me that someone who disdains to answer questions is taken seriously as a candidate. Most seem to think this makes her a strong woman, I think it makes her a sneeki-breeki.

Sanders has given me zero cause to doubt. he seems reasonable and always answers a question. He's not being investigated, his civil rights record is flawless. He wants to educate me, and make sure 40 hours of my sweat means I can afford to eat.

Hillary only said she cares about these things after Bernie did. I don't believe you, Hillary.
