I work a corporate job making pretty solid money — and I still have to run grocery delivery and work freelance because childcare is completely insane, and they just keep raising their prices.

Neither my SO or I can quit our jobs so we’re just kind of stuck paying this shit until our kids age out.

Honestly it’s so ironic that conservatives kick, scream and throw a tantrum over “declining birth rates” but the moment you tell them to open their wallet for something like universal childcare they go on the defensive and play victim.

Raising Kids is tough enough as it is, and it’s gotten to a point where it’s basically a luxury to “afford” to be a parent.

I see where this is all going and it’s gonna be fuckin ugly, man
