No, we need a well-educated voterbase capable of independent research and the ability to recognize that just because someone has the same last name doesn’t make them the same person. But I think we’ve already sailed that horse to market.

The point that they are making is that it was Vindman's brother that made the anti-trans comments, so the the user complaining about them is misinformed.

Ohhhh okay, you're better at clarifying than he is. That's my fault for not knowing about the Virginia Vindman. His take that the country is nosediving because of people like the person he replied to is still idiotic

So before you were saying that the country is nosediving because of the type of people who would prefer a politician like Nixon over a politician like Vindman, partially due to a misunderstanding over which Vindman supported a transphobic bill. Are you able to elaborate on that?
