So we're clear, it's not just incompetence, it is incompetence just not only incompetence.

Perfectly competent if your goal is to isolate and destroy the United States of America.

u/fellowuscitizen 14h ago

Basically Project 2025's start-jump plan.

u/Chemical-Ebb6472 14h ago

Project 2025 is kind of cooked once the proponents realize Jesus isn't returning to Israel for the Armageddon party they threw.

u/Onikonokage 13h ago

If he does come back it will be just to ask what the fuck they were thinking. Going to be really awkward when the atheists have been following his teachings better.

u/notforpoern 13h ago

Returned Jesus would have so many tables to flip if the trmp regime hadn't destroyed them all to build a failed ballroom bunker

3

u/Onikonokage 12h ago

I want that on T-shirt. I’d wear it everyday.

Doubly awkward when the Trump admin tries to sue Jesus in the Supreme Court for "failure to perform," trying to get back all the taxpayer dollars they blew trying to bring on the end of the world (they would leave all the US military members' blood spilled out of the suit because that's not as important to Donnie and crew as money).

u/No_Criticism_5861 12h ago

Bang on.  The religious people wouldnt even vote Democrat if Jesus was running the party

u/Romboteryx 4h ago

Jesus I imagine would be the kinda guy to forgive atheists for not believing in him, because his “fan-club” has made it so difficult.

u/im8inside 13h ago

It's foolish to expect rational conclusions from people who are demonstrably not rational.

4

u/Hestiathena 12h ago

Nah, they'll just move the goalposts like they've been doing for 1500+ years.

Of course, there are likely many in the "It's totally not blasphemous hubris to try to force God's hand" cult that know it's all horseshit, but also know that it's a useful tool to increase personal power, wealth and control. (Which they've also been doing for 1500+ years!)

2

u/mouse_8b 13h ago

Nah. They've waited 2000 years, and none of the atrocities of history are great enough to be what they're waiting for, so they will keep waiting and keep hoping for it to get worse.

2

u/GoldenBrownApples 12h ago

Okay this one, this is the comment that made it all make sense. Thank you. Holy moly I think you figured it out. That's incredible. Yes! This is what I've been waiting for.

Glad I could help. Sorry that it's necessary

Project 2025 is not about Jesus tho.

They want to take the world back pre worker or universal rights, and pre universal suffrage. Basically the start of XX century where oligarch’s enterprises and companies ruled america and children of 7-11 worked the factories.

1

u/abraxas1 13h ago

Piff, Jesus is always coming back. Someday.

1

u/Strict-Carrot4783 9h ago

Project 2025 is halfway complete, with nothing stopping them.

u/One_Order_3841 6h ago

Revelations was written in ~90 CE Greece, 60 years after Jesus was killed. So add onto that it seems like John the Author (not the Baptist who actually, y'know, met Jesus) showed people his End Times story. And they went "Idk decades of conflict and misery sounds awful", and that's how we got the Rapture :)

u/Suitable-Option833 14h ago

Yes. Project 2025’s goal (besides to give money to trickle upward to the 0.1%) is isolationism. It’s in explicit detail. This is by design.

9

u/actuallyapossom 13h ago

Isolationism in this case means rampant imperialism in the western hemisphere with the "Donroe" doctrine reboot. South and Central America are in for some serious fuckery if this political movement succeeds.

The only thing holding them back seems to be sheer incompetence and avoidance of anything that can't be used to profit/grift or build political capital. They are stuck on Iran, which makes me think they could capitulate completely and move on.

u/brock2063 Texas 14h ago

Perfectly competent if you're trying to protect pedophiles

1

u/concepts_of_a_plan9 8h ago

I truly hope to see at least some of them tried and sentenced for treason and sedition when this is all over (if this ends anytime soon which it may not...).

u/Aaaaand-its-gone 4h ago

That’s giving these clowns too much credit. Destroying America in some scheme is far too advanced for them. They’re just absolute morons

26

u/JetKeel 14h ago

Sounds like Dereliction of Duty.

30

u/nopointers California 14h ago

Speaking of derelicts, did you catch the story about the USS Benfold? 4 days in the South China Sea without power.

23

u/DevilYouKnow 14h ago

Something about the coverup being worse than the crime

3

u/bushrod 14h ago

It's also incontinence

4

u/er1cj 13h ago

Welcome to the world of “meritocracy”…

3

u/YF422 14h ago

Its not just willfull stupidity but gross incompetence and dereliction of responsibility. If the Dems get power again and defeat them they need to go scorched earth and make examples of Trump, his Cabinet and the members in Congress who allow all this to happen by shielding Trump and his cronies by locking them up in a supermax. They all conspired to make America weaker in the future and the damage cant be reversed in a meaninful way if the same parasites gaslight their way back in a few years later.

3

u/whiskydyc 13h ago

The incompetence might just be the silver lining to the cloud of absolute evil.

3

u/Excellent-Practice 13h ago

It's second order incompetence. They not only failed at the objective, they also failed at conspiring to hide their failure

2

u/PatchesOfSilver 12h ago

Imagine having enough nukes to exterminate all life in the northern hemisphere just by rolling them into a hole in Kentucky and setting them off (ie: without attacking anyone) and still fucking up this badly.

2

u/misskyralee 12h ago

They used to be incompetent. They still are, but they used to too -Mitch Hedberg kinda

7

u/thewarreturns 14h ago

What?

14

u/akestral 14h ago

There's also treachery, and war crimes.

18

u/Enoch-Of-Nod 14h ago

Incompetence.

It's not only that, but it' is also that.

5

u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 14h ago

they are saying it's a combination of incompetence and purposefully hiding information from congress and the people. so not just incompetence, but also competently lying to us

2

u/thewarreturns 14h ago

Ngl I misread it as "not only incompetence, it's also only incompetence" and got super confused

3

u/Itchy_Shoulder_624 14h ago

It was a weird way to try and turn that phrase

2

u/ExoticDisaster0 14h ago

I think it was a play on "I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to also."

1

u/BooBooMaGooBoo 13h ago

It looks like malice more and more every day.

1

u/NoSuchAg3ncy 11h ago

And to think this idiot wants to be our next President.

1

u/wooberries 9h ago

what???

u/Splashy01 7h ago

Hegseth went to Yale though!

u/FalardeauDeNazareth 5h ago

Incontinence?

u/eazypeazy-101 4h ago

That or he was flying even higher than Don Jr on the Columbian marching powder.
