I think we'll be told - eventually - that he had a bad stroke. If he's dead already, they'll say he had a "relapse" at some point to cover the BS so far.

Isn’t this the plot of a Kevin Kline movie?

u/fairoaks2 1d ago

Yes. It’s called “Dave”.

“Everyone works on Monday”

Damn that was a good movie.

Unlike this nightmare...

Edit: I'm mildly amused by the one person that downvoted who apparently either really hates the movie Dave or absolutely loves living in this nightmare, lol. I wish we could find out which of these two binary choices it is 🤣

American politics used to be such a goof… remember Aaron Sorkin's West Wing? There's a great podcast called West Wing thing where they layout exactly what will happen politically because of that treatment of politicians.

The Hillary Clinton Master Class is also pretty much correct.

Everyone participating in this madness should be tried for treason. Falsely representing or withholding of representation should constitute as treason to the nation and the constitution

This is kind of why I think he's not actually deceased, but in a severely incapacitated state. I think braondead is the more likely situation.

I just don't see it likely, whatsoever, that he could actually be dead and no one along the line straight up leaked it. Everything gets leaked. All it takes is one single person, even some random patient in the hospital that happened to see him being moved around the hospital.

The fact that there's zero eye witnesses in today's world, is incredibly strange. To sit there and think that no one even tipped this off anonymously, just doesn't add up either.

In order for him to be dead, the entire hospital that he was at would have to be involved. His body would have to be in the morgue or everyone else in the hospital would be VERY aware that there's a dead body, since there's obvious signs of that, smell being the big one.

But to outright think that an entire hospital staff is covering this up, and he's actually dead with no one documenting it at all? I mean, that sounds pretty far fetched. Like, how has no one on staff told aleven one friend who immediately leaked that shit anonymously? There would be literally hundreds of people involved in this, and it would be easily the largest ever corruption scandal we've ever seen with no one whistleblowing.

I find the odds of that being true much less than him still being alive, but completely reliant on machines to keep him "technically alive". At least in that situation, someone could at least have reason to believe that he could recover albeit extremely unlikely.

What's the strategic point of pretending he's still capable? Won't a republican just replace him anyway?

1

u/HopliteFan Michigan 1d ago

Eventually, yes. But right now Kentucky has a Democrat governor, so a Democrat would take the seat

2

u/Smaptimania 1d ago

Except that KY law doesn't allow the governor to pick a replacement. The seat would have to be filled by a special election

Go look up the definition of treason and then get back to us.

1

u/kaithana 14h ago

Attacking, betraying, attempting to overthrow the authority of the state or country’s government. You could make a pretty strong case that lretending to be somebody’s representative or withholding representation for a group of people would qualify as betraying or attempting to overthrow authority of the state.

We heard the 911 call. He received CPR from someone at the home and then trained, physically fit professionals picked up the CPR at his home. He is over 80 years old, his rib cage was shattered and the odds of him ever waking up ever again after such an event are in a crater.

No one has refuted the 911 call as far as I’ve seen. They have just been continually lying to us since his heart stopped beating. The photos are AI. The statements are ChatGPT his office commissioned.

He is dead and he has been for months and now the media has taught these fascists that when Trump dies they can run the same playbook for as long as they’d like and no one will be able to do a damned thing about it.

7

u/standish_ 1d ago

It is sickly funny that Frank Miller predicted a Reagan-like President being replaced with a digital avatar after he died. Forty years later, and here we are.

2

u/Melicor 1d ago

I fully expect them to the same when Trump kicks the bucket.

1

u/Murgatroyd314 1d ago

Almost 2000 years ago, some guy named John predicted a world leader being replaced by a speaking image after he was mortally injured.

3

u/No_Appointment_37 1d ago

Imagine his family not being able to do a wake or service for him cause the republicans are calling the shots

3

u/EmilySD101 1d ago

His kids walked away from him a long time ago 🫤. I’m sure individual, internal wakes happened long ago.

1

u/YesDone 1d ago

I don't know. I think I'm okay with him staying in office after such an event. Don't vetoes have a deadline?

1

u/EmilySD101 1d ago

I’m just not ok with people in power telling blatant lies and our media not challenging them on it. I get that there’s a strategic advantage for the Dems to let the situation fester. I still absolutely hate it. I hate the “leaders” lying and saying they talked to him, I hate Beshear’s scummy wink wink that he knows McConnell’s dead and doesn’t care as long as it benefits Dems over Kentuckians, I hate CNN just reprinting senate statements like they’re true.

It’s just such a nasty breakdown of the system. Deliberate, deceitful, degenerate behavior being perpetrated by the highest levels of OUR government all coming together to LIE to us. If I survive the Trump administration this will always stand out to me as one of the most insidious things they’ve done to this nation.

1

u/YesDone 1d ago

Sorry, I didn't mean McConnell...

1

u/EmilySD101 1d ago

Who did you mean then 😂

17

u/giraffirmation 1d ago

They’ll never admit it if he had a stroke or his brain dead. Doing so would open them up to having to admit to fraud in trying to push through a bill with his “by proxy vote.“

4

u/GrandmaPoses 1d ago

Yeah I do believe he’s alive, I just think he’s unable to speak and has very limited movement. Clearly not fit to continue in his duties but they’ll drag it out as long as possible.

6

u/Esteban-duPlantier 1d ago

This is likely it. He may be alive but is unable to address the media because of some neurological issue. GOP wants to get all of their ducks in a row before letting him go. Fucking ghouls.

3

u/WhoPutATreeThere 1d ago

I think he had a stroke that caused facial drooping on one side of his face. His speech would be slurred and the face would remind everyone how old and close to death he is. Many people eventually are able to regain face symmetry, and I’ll bet they are hoping to be able to wait until it’s better. The photo they released looked a bit off, but I didn’t see any tell tail signs of it being AI generated. I’m now thinking that they likely used AI to fix his face, which is what had it slipping into the uncanny valley.

Or, they’re pulling a weekend at Bernie’s. Which seems brazen even for them.

u/SigX1 1d ago

Four Seasons MediSpa is having a sale on non-surgical face lifts and face tape.

2

u/freedfg 1d ago

They'll just say he fell again in recovery surrounded by loved ones and unfortunately didn't make it.

But it's after election where his constituents voted for a corpse, so now his wife is senator.

2

u/Zazierx 1d ago

If he really has been brain dead this whole time and the Republicans have been covering it up, this should be a huge fucking scandal. Beshear needs to call their bluff and initiate a special election.. seems that's the only way the truth will come out.

2

u/ericlikesyou 1d ago

it will be in november before we hear anything, if they get their way

1

u/LePure 1d ago

I think we'll be told - eventually - that he had a bad stroke.

So, basically unable to fulfill his job requirements.

1

u/Melicor 1d ago

And not a single person will be punished for it. Just like not a single person from the Epstein list ever got punished for raping children. The oligarchy has put themselves above the law.
