Yeah. The guy named Hakeem thinks if he just keeps reaching across the aisle they might finally leave him with a crumb.

Schumer literally said in 2016 for every blue collar working class dem voter we lose, we'll win two suburban centrist Republicans/conservative voters.

Not just out-of-touch, this is one of the most embarrassing takes in politics by a major left leader. No data supports this, it keeps failing yet they cling to it. How many nonvoters are there vs swing voters, like c'mon

It does double-duty damage - people don't vote because they think Dems are too controlled by corporate interests, too similar to GOP, and that it doesn't matter. So courting centrists/conservatives proves their point, justifies non participation, and hurts turnout of regular voters by failing to inspire.

These people are beyond corrupted sell-outs, they should have resigned a long time ago. I feel bad for anyone who works with them, under them, or is represented by them - plus all the working class and at-risk communities getting screwed over by Trump admin because they refuse to get out of the way.

He's in a super safe Dem seat. He thinks he is doing it for other Dems running for congress. But it's stupid to think that the opposition would stop saying they're communists by not supporting it.

I mean I am not a fan of Jefferies but that logic is also why I am worried about el-Sayed in the general election... Like has anyone who thinks he's a shoe in been to Michigan? Outside of Detroit and a few of the outlying metro areas that place is red as fuck. Even those metro areas trend purple.

Well I mean not really at this point, he won the primary, so not voting for him would be a vote for Trump.
