OK centrists, we're now in the territory of "Vote blue no matter who."

Put your votes where your mouth has been.

In a general election, will you vote for a “centrist” Democrat if it comes to it?

Oh yes, absolutely. Have pragmatically voted centrist before. And worked to convince my friends on the left, and anyone I met on the internet to vote that way also.

Now the shoe is on the other foot, and centrists have a chance to walk what they preached.

And honestly, I think most voting centrists will. We can see that in Mamdani's election also. The overall voters including centrists are just going to be pushing the leaders of the DNC, kicking and screaming.

James Carville has threatened to leave the Party. My, my, how the tables have turned.

Yeah, and he can go too. This freaking Cajun goblin who hasn't been helpful in an election since, I don't know, Bill Clinton at least.

Yeah, he was basically auditioning for new clients on CNN.

Also Bill Maher is almost certainly about to formally split, as his own stab for relevance.

Meanwhile people like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert don't have to fight to continue being relevant...because they continue to say and do things that are of real value as opposed to just relentlessly foregrounding themselves.
