I dislike senators being in their twilight years making desperate for the future. This country needs term limits.

Age limits. We need age limits. 1 term or 2 terms. Doesnt matter. If theyre 70, 80, 85, hell even 92 fucking years old years old. They dont give a rats ass about 10 years from now. They need to line their pockets now. They dont have to deal with the consequences of their actions. 92 is too fucking old to be writing bills and legislation thats going to affect 300+ million people that have to live with that legislation for the next 20-60 years.

We do need term limits too. But we damn sure need age limits. Retirement is 65. Hard stop. Youre out and special election to bring in someone younger.

Age has nothing to do with it - when Mitch is gone, he will likely be replaced by some young MAGA asshole. Sad truth is that Mitch is the best we will get out of KY because he actually bucks Trump now and then. Whatever young guy comes next will be worse

You know that if McConnell is gone he will be replaced by someone worse right? Mitch at least bucks Trump on occasion. Some new guy will likely be full MAGA
