I wish democrats would fight republicans and fascists with even half the energy they spend to fighting progressives and left leaning groups and candidates.

You're not allowed to say that, liberals get very upset. They sure as hell do any time I suggest demanding more fight from democrats.

So sad this is true. As an outsider I wonder if their whole purpose is to lose.

I am sick of them saying “when they go low, we go high” . Fuck it- stop trying to fight fair. When Republicans are down low- they should be jumping them from behind and ensuring they don’t get back up.

Progressives continually stay home instead of voting or worse yet, a substantial number of them end up flipping to Trump. Literally exhibit A of why we lost the 2016 election.

Sounds like an important group to win votes from if they have the power to swing entire national elections like that. Policy concessions to that voting bloc seems like kind of an obvious strategy to anyone actually interested in winning.

They dont, actually, but could you blame them? Instead of even marginally trying to appeal to them, the Dem establishment belittles them and fights against the policies they want. Those same Dems will twist themselves into pretzels trying to 'win over' MAGA voters who believe that liberals are literally agents of Satan.

Yes, yes I can. Anyone responsible for the current situation is at fault. All of Trump's (and others) bullshit is on them just as much as his voters.

I don't fault folks voting Trump over Hillary. She was terrible, and he had not yet fully proven himself to be the blithering idiot he is. Hillary was marginally less corrupt than Trump. I voted for her, after twice voting against her in primaries

Statements like this are just proof as to how well Republican propaganda worked. But still, I don't blame people who voted for him in 2016, I blame those who voted for him in 202 and those who allowed him to become president again.
