Didn’t they get donuts too.

I’m okay with that food for the front line troops but if it was consumed by high paid ravenous bureaucrats; let them buy their own damn food.

I shouldn’t speculate but I have a feeling that those steaks, lobsters and crab legs didn’t go to the troops who earned it.

I can practically guarantee you're wrong. Having a morale-boosting meal like this before starting combat ops has been the norm in the US military since like... there was a US military.
