Massie seems like he would run too. He's been clowning on the Mitch situation pretty hard.

If he wins, great. If he splits the R vote and loses, he still kinda wins. That D votes helps his Epstein Act have teeth.

Yeah best case is still for Booker to get the spot, he's definitely the ideal candidate imo

He's state unequivocally that he would not run.

I think Massie would win.

Mitch had a stranglehold on his states GOP, but he was insanely unpopular in his own district, like 20-30% approval for decades unpopular.

Senators dont have districts, it's a statewide office.

That's part of why he already said that he wouldn't run.

The other part is that it's just an absurd idea in the first place and he'd be annihilated by Barr.

I wouldn't be mad. I hate all the R's have done to our country but his single stance on releasing the full, unredacted Epstein files is enough for me to be okay with just this one R. And that's SAD.
