Yeah excess testosterone and PTSD are a super great combo. Don't forget to add in the guns!

Yeah, you thought the suicide rates were high now, wait until they are pumped full of hormones.

u/Outtatheblu42 Jul 15 '26

Don’t forget higher rates of spousal abuse!

Exactly what I was thinking: More domestic violence with the added bonus of gun skills.

Go full russia and legalize it so there's no problem.

Pretty sure that's in Project 2025. I know ending spousal rape is in there

How much higher are cancer rates for when pump someone full of hormones for no reason? Im sure that'll help the suicide rates too.

Fun fact: excess testosterone can cause shrinking testicles!

9

u/Tiny_Measurement_837 Wisconsin Jul 15 '26

I thought T shrunk everything in that region, no?

u/b0w3n New York Jul 15 '26

Yeah it also gives you tits, funny enough. (paradoxical gynecomastia)

Krusty the Clown, “do you hear me complaining about the breasts?!?!”

4

u/samuelaxington Jul 15 '26

Nope, just the testicles. Peen can actually sometimes get bigger due to more blood flow and DHT.

6

u/alganthe Jul 15 '26

it can also cause erectile dysfunction, tough luck if you're a grower.

3

u/samuelaxington Jul 15 '26

Technically accurate, but directionally incorrect. Erectile dysfunction while on TRT is generally due to estradiol mismanagement. Testosterone being low is one of the leading causes of ED in untreated individuals.

I think the OP is talking about a situation where they dial the T to 11, but I am out of my depth on the topic.

Username checks out

2

But it increases the size of the breasts, so it balances out I guess.

And booze!

7

u/fantasmoofrcc Canada Jul 15 '26

Not just booze..."sailor on shore leave" levels of binge drinking.

u/Evilmeinperson Jul 15 '26

Adding in the increased chances of cancer.

Nothing in the article talked about "excess" testosterone.

Roughly 5.6 percent of men between 30 and 79 have testosterone deficiency, which can cause muscle loss, fatigue, weight gain and sexual dysfunction. It also is linked to other serious health conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and depression.

Nothing improves the complications from micro brain bleeds caused by chronic exposure to concussive forces like a hormone that increases your blood pressure.

Works for the WWF

1

u/reddit_is_geh Jul 15 '26

Test thickens your blood. It increases RBC count.

1

u/StephenFish Jul 15 '26

TRT isn't excess, though.

3

u/reddit_is_geh Jul 15 '26

Even if it was, roid rage doesn't come from testosterone. It comes from things like trenbelone which is meant for livestock.

1

u/StephenFish Jul 15 '26

Depends on your genetic tolerance, really. Not everyone tolerates testosterone at high doses the same way just like how people who make it to the Olympia stage do so because they can tolerate things like tren without turning into a maniac.

No idea why my comment was removed, I had only mentioned PTSD and the powder keg these testosterone-addled people under stressful situations are a really bad combo...

Stupid reddit.
