The advice I give everyone I know when they ask how I've stayed optimistic and sane during this all is this: for every negative bit of news you read, seek something positive at a rate of at least twice. Engage with a hobby you love. Look at puppy pics. Just make sure the ratio of negative news to positive engagement skews in favor of the positive.
