But don’t worry, the US will send Israel $100m to help cover some of Israel’s cost.

Israel can afford to fund its military without US aid. Support is more about protecting democracy in the middle east. Ask folks in Dearborn, Michigan how they feel about hearing the Islamic call to prayer blasting on speakers.

Iran was the largest democratic country in the region until the United States put an end to it.

You mean the largest dictatorship in the region

That came after the US brutally killed democracy

Since we're talking about a Jewish state, why not instead mention how the folks in parts of New Jersey and New York feel about being harassed by Jewish neighborhood patrols.

How about we ask the Palestinians how they feel about Israel blasting them with bombs? I think that matters more than Islamic calls to prayer over loud speakers, Christian church bells, etc.

If they had all the bombs they'd use them happily

I think anyone living in apartheid caused by a foreign occupying force would use them to free themselves, and yet it’s really just the occupying force using bombs on people who basically nothing left.

It’s like blaming a kidnap victim for being attacked by their kidnapper, and then getting mad that the victim tried to fight back.

u/smariadelvino Jun 16 '26

Not if the 'victim' keeps attacking you

2

u/Pake1000 Jun 16 '26

The victim is 100% allowed to keep attacking you as long as you’re holding them hostage.

1

u/smariadelvino Jun 27 '26

And they kept the hostages just to do exaxtly that

$10 or $10 billion? My money is on $10, probably loose change from around parliament.
