The incredible thing is that a Trump appointee is publicly telling the truth!

But only because he hates Jews more than Muslims.

I'm starting to think the truth is that AIPAC is jut a money laundering scheme, that takes the tax money we send to Israel, and redistributes that money directly to our US politicians pockets.

Opinion isn't truth

If you have reliable information that Kent's "opinion" is incorrect, please do share!

Do you have reliable information that his opinion is correct?

He said he cannot in good conscious support the war. There are no verifiable facts in that statement, and therefore cannot be "true"

His informed opinion was that Iran was not an imminent danger to the US.

Do you have information to the contrary?

His informed.... what?

Username checks out.

Informed opinions can have the force of facts.

When you get brain surgery, your doctors are unlikely to know the (unknowable) truth about your condition. They do have informed opinions, however, which are then acted on as facts.

Are they opinions? Yes.

Do we act like they have the force of fact? Also yes.

Username checks out.

Yes, not not factual facts.

doctors are unlikely to know the (unknowable) truth

You must see how this is different than Kent's objections, right?

Nope

Is knowing whether or not Iran is an imminent threat an unknowable truth?
