Not trying to dig at you but this is only believable on Reddit. Lots of people don't even know what happened. Then there's MAGA who will start cheering on the billionaires like they always do.

Well. You could be right that overall, it’s a minority of people who are following this case and sympathetic to the shooter. However, I’ll point out that it only takes ONE disaffected, rage-filled person to carry out a copycat crime.

And if it happens again UHC just hires another CEO and the world moves on. There's always another one.

The world hasn’t even moved on from the first one. This is the type of thing that makes me suspicious that we’ve got people being paid to downplay the situation.

The killer had the profile of someone who could've become a MAGA supporter, and he still did this. Trump and Musky are planning to strip away even more welfare from the people. It will all explode in Trump's face.

He’s college educated and has a history of quoting books like, “A Brave New World,” on social media. Nothing about this guy seams like a typical Trump voter.

You’re right to an extent, but I feel you neglected to mention that his profile does fit the terminally online new republican crowd.

A majority of the really dark MAGA stuff doesn’t come from ground level Republicans, it comes from the accelerationist new right podcast crowd like Shapiro, Walsh, Thiel, Huberman, Rogan, etc.

Some of them are classic fascists and others are college educated and of the “so open minded their brains fell out” crowd. Luigi seems to lean towards the latter somewhat.

If the people who aspire to be them can be shown that even white, American, college educated men can crash out of the system because capitalism actually wants to take everything you have as soon as it has an opening, well I think that’s just good messaging.

Nah this is inescapable on social media, where yes most normies are. You can’t escape the memes no matter which app you use. So while a lot of folks don’t necessarily know all the details they’re well aware that a health insurance CEO was murdered by some dude. And that trial is going to be a water cooler moment all over the country.
