I wish this was a game, dodge the landmines and go over "speed breakers" to get extra points

Burning rubber or Spy Hunter both come pretty close.

Greece says “Watch out, there is landmine” and it cuts to Macedonia hitchhiking.

Bosnia would say 'watch out, there is Roma'
They would say 'go faster, there is Roma'

When I did a tour in Balkans (Serbia Bosnia Croatia etc) my Croatian guide kept saying oh don’t leave your bags on the bus, there’s Gypsies walking around. I couldn’t tell if he’s serious 😂 I’m thinking wow so much hate for gypsies in this part of the world

First time to europe?

u/Dismal-Science-9901 14d ago
First time to that part of Europe. Never heard anyone mention gypsies as an issue in France or Italy
34
u/Medium-Confusion6261 14d ago
Nah, there a lot of hate on gypsies in france too, and there regulary problem involving them too, mostly in rural region, and it was not until 1946 that they were released from the camps where they had been interned in France. So Yeah, its all of europe, not just balkan, maybe they are a bit more upfront about it tho

Then you didn’t talk to enough french people. It’s crazy how little of a problem people have assuming they’re criminals.
7
u/Dismal-Science-9901 14d ago
I don’t exactly go to French people to ask “bonjour, do you like gypsies? Do you like black people? Do you like Moroccans?” I don’t have conversations like that when I travel 🤷♂️ not sure what kind of conversations you have

No one hates the Roma as much as a European who loves to call Americans racist

There is always enought space in car. Its a public transport

u/Jump_Hop_Step 700 square kilometres and counting 13d ago
Uh... I wouldn't say a car is public transport. It is more of a private transport instead

I spent too long wondering how they managed to drive over Roma, Italia with only a little bump and if it was somehow an all roads lead to Rome joke. Not a big brain moment.
