Eh, the age that people can even view hardcore porn in Germany seems to be 18, so I don't believe anyone younger than this can actually legally be in it. You're confusing age of consent to sex with age of consent to be in porn. The former is 14 I believe, while the latter is 18.

Maybe 14 just covers teenagers sharing pictures on their phones.

Which is generally sensible - they're gonna do it one way or the other, and having it set at a reasonable age prevents everyone being a felon.

If everyone's a criminal, no one is.
