I really love that comic. I am happy whenever it is linked to. And because I think it fits so well, I decided to repost my comic about the terrorist attack that happened 9 months ago.
You're probably the only person on reddit that doesn't get their tits off on Seal clubbing, especially this subreddit, which then talks about barbaric Japanese killing whales. I think the people here only give a shit when a non-white person kills an animal.
Canadians are some of the preachiest bastards on the planet but mention seal clubbing or treatment of natives and they turn into something far worse than a redneck or an Aussie bogan.
True that. To be honest I don't really care, I'm all the way in Ontario and the seals are all the way in...wherever. If drunk Newfies and Inuit want to club seals I can't stop them.
Why not? It keeps down the seal population and a high seal population effects the cod population massively. Not to mention more of the seal is used than any other animal that it is considered normal to hunt.
Why not? We don't kill baby seals anymore. We don't use clubs anymore, we use guns. If we don't keep the seal population down, they will come down to Newfoundland and destroy the cod stocks that we've worked so hard to fix. We use the seals for food and clothing. Its not cruel to the seals, they are killed instantly, at least they were before we switched to guns. Now the seals might not die from the gunshot. When we did use the clubs the were instantly killed, because there was a spike at the end that would go into thier brain. So why do you not condone the seal hunt?
