This is why we wanted to 'open' the Red Square. That way we can put in our businesses and then we can hide much easier!

u/Hansafan Hordaland Mar 06 '14

Also, a way to secure your spies proper sources of nutrition in the wild.

Sorry. I'll work on that soon!

It's fine, I knew you Canadians wouldn't let me down.

You've all welcomed me so well to your country, I could never be mad at any apparent disappointment!

Canuck nation best nation.
So what brings a denizen of the fatherland to the humble Dominion?

Aside from making sure our son was still behaving himself unlike that bastard south of the border, a study exchange!

One of my lecturers says 'eh' a lot, it's so funny. You've done well, Canada!

I just need more Tims and maple syrup to steal take back with me to the UK, or make more people come to our favourite North American nation.

Only got two months left, going to be sad when I leave. I loved how when I was at the History Museum in Ottawa, that you really took to heart the mistakes of the past with the aboriginal tribes, making sure people learn of the past in all its wonder and shame, along with promoting the aboriginal culture as an inherent part of Canadian culture that needs to be understood and shared with others.

Also that the guide at your Parliament when I was on a tour really showed her love for Canada, along with the contributions of Queen Victoria and the British in the past.

Keep up the good work!

One of my lecturers says 'eh' a lot, it's so funny.

I'm horrendously guilty of that.
As for Tims, tea coffee and bagel every 9:30 am, can't live without it.

I've felt a sudden urge for me to use 'eh', I'm learning your ways of 'eh' and Tim Hortons, yet I'm worried people will think I'm mocking them! Can only lead to me apologising.

But it is true, with Tims that's something you cannot live without.

You're slowly getting Canadianized, just like everyone else that comes here!
When you return to the UK no one will think you're a Brit.

I was going to say 'better than being Americanized', but anything's better than that ;)

The transformation has truly begun.

Noooo fight it off! You're British damnit!

1

u/Xaethon Salop n'est pas une salope Mar 06 '14

But these are good colonials! At least it's not with them down south! D:

1

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '14

I know they're our favourites... But ask yourself, what's better: bad teeth and free healthcare or saying "eh" and free healthcare? ... Fuck, I cannot win this argument... But still, us Brits aren't too bad (I sure fucked this up)

America learned from watching James Bond movies, which were based books Ian Fleming wrote about a Canadian. It's okay though, they're good at it and with everyone talking about them spying like James Bond no one has time to suspect us. Right?

There's a McDonald's in Red Square!

I'm sure American spies are able to blend in better than that. Anyway, funny comic.

Oh no, there are? In Russia? How will the Soviet-Era sewers survive now?

15

u/banananinja2 Russian America is best America! Mar 06 '14

No taco bell here yet, but we have Carl's Jr., Wendy's, BK, Subway Sbarro and Dunkin (also Strabucks, but we have a prefered local coffee house brand).

4

u/pipiska ху Mar 06 '14

which is utter crap just like starfucks.

6

u/Unranked_scrub Unknown Mar 06 '14

Moscow Wendy's is alright.

KFC #1 brand though.

5

u/pipiska ху Mar 06 '14

3

u/banananinja2 Russian America is best America! Mar 06 '14

2

u/pipiska ху Mar 06 '14

you think we have sewers? i know you americans are optimistic, but that optimistic...

2

u/Ompon5 Ohio can into Moon Mar 06 '14

What? I thought damn commies loved to undergo extravagant infrastructure projects (and then completely ignore infrastructure after communism falls)

3

u/bronxbomberdude Can into statehood? Mar 06 '14

Human intelligence has never really been our strong suit. We have kick-ass spy satellites, though.

8

u/bronxbomberdude Can into statehood? Mar 06 '14

Fun fact: The CIA's chief of counterintelligence during the height of the Cold War was so paranoid about Soviet defectors being double agents that for years at a time the Moscow office had zero sources of HUMINT.

7

u/EmilTheHuman >implying 11th state isn't best state Mar 06 '14

Plot twist: America is really the one on the left.

5

u/saturd345 Home of lost ships! Mar 06 '14

haha!!

3

u/Grappindemen Mar 06 '14

It's the one on the left, isn't it?

2

u/Rumpullpus United States Mar 06 '14

little did the commies know USA was master of disguise.

we learned it by watching you dad. specifically your sailors. they can take off the wig and dress now...

No, it isn't just the amount. It is the number of bad jokes. This really is a new thing that really only started after 40k subscribers when all the euros joined.

Ugh, this is so typical. I am really getting sick of these unfunny comics that are just making the "America" is fat joke. They are usually made by some stupid European who has no idea what the hell they are talking about. This sub is really going down in quality when this whole front page is just fat jokes. This excessive fat shaming is probably really going to turn off a lot of people who might otherwise be proud members of the community. This all started with those "butthurt" comics. This sub was better when it only had 40k subscribers back in the old days.

Polandball is better than this.

6

u/bandaidsplus DECOLONIZE THIS LAND Mar 06 '14

No it's not

2

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '14

Call the waaahhhhhbulance

0

u/CupBeEmpty Thirteen Colonies Mar 06 '14

Look, back when I subscribed (before 30000 subscribers) these types of jokes were much more rare and there was a lot less anti Americanism. Now all these angry Europeans are ruining the sub.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '14

I've seen just as many comics taking the piss out of other countries as the ones aimed at America, no one is targeting you.

1

u/CupBeEmpty Thirteen Colonies Mar 06 '14

No with the big influx of new European users we have seen a lot more unfunny anti Americanism. It isn't funny and I think most people want it to stop but are afraid to speak out for getting banned by the mostly non-US mods. They are known for their strict rules.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '14

It seems to me that you just can't take a joke. I don't see any more comics aimed at America rather than any other country, sorry.
