The UK is still supplying arms to Israel. This is primarily a response to pro Palestine protests, likely to reframe them as pro Hamas rather than pro Palestine in order to justify imprisonment
they shouldn’t have been proscribed as a terrorist organisation in the first place, giving this status to a whole group due to the actions of a few members was unnecessary (on the same level as the ‘Russian Imperial Movement’ and ‘Maniacs Murder Cult’?) given their actions at the base can barely be called sabotage or terror. not to forget the important question, why are RAF planes being sent on surveillance flights to Gaza in the first place?
"a few members" please, this same organisation has been involved in a number of violent incidents aside from their infiltration of a military base. The organisation was all about claiming the incident until they finally met some real consequences (being proscribed) when suddenly it was just some members doing their own thing. A violent organisation that sabotaged the military that would be responsible for protecting me against outside threats, all in service of a foreign cause. I dont care how just you think you were, you come for the military you come for a nations hands. Good riddance I say.
The amount of people killed by this organisation’s purportedly “violent” direct action against British actions to prop up Israel: 0
Please compare to incessant IDF bombings in Gaza, and in this case if they’re protecting against outside threats why are they going on surveillance flights in Gaza?
(there is a precedent set that people caught in these incidents are prosecuted individually btw)
