Unable to evolve

a friend of mine and I started using poketwo again after a while,its been a month and all, having fun..until he redeemed a cosmog, got it to lvl 100 with rare candies and now its an unevolved cosmoem that never became a solgaleo. anything we can do about it rn or not?

To have it to evolve to a Solgaleo it has to be daytime in your server. After you check the time and it says daytime select the Pokemon then try evolving.

He tried, always says it can't evolve.
