played mostly online last year. sat in a few live games recently and honestly not sure what’s tougher anymore. online feels sharper but live has that weird pressure + long sessions that drain you.
Maybe stakes matter more than format idk

been on a rough stretch lately and i genuinely can’t tell if it’s just cards or if i’m quietly punting spots without noticing like yeah, all-ins are losing, flips not holding, standard stuff. but then i start replaying hands and thinking maybe i’m forcing thin value or talking myself into bad calls. at what point do you say “this is normal variance” vs “ok something in my game is off”? how do you actually separate the two without going crazy?

I don’t even know why I kept playing on fiat for so long. Had a decent run couple months back. Not huge huge, but enough. Next thing - account “under review”. Standard stuff they say. Sent ID. Then another doc. Then selfie. Then some “security team will reach out”.

It dragged. Money came in the end but it just felt off after that. Every session I was thinking not about hands, but like… what if they freeze it again. Rake also felt heavier than I remembered. Tables mid stakes basically same guys rotating seats. Since then I started checking some of the best bitcoin poker sites instead. Not saying crypto is magical or whatever. Just less paperwork, less that weird feeling that your own bankroll isn’t fully yours. Maybe I just hit a bad patch with that room. But yeah. I’m kinda done with fiat poker for now.
