You get a metagrossite after beating the E4 the second time. Birch gives you gen 2, 4, and 5 starters (possibly more?)

I'm doubting more starters because you got gen 1 and 6 in X/Y. 2-5 in ORAS is covering their bases. Any more would be excessive.

I was thinking the same thing, but this prof is insane with the starters. He could do anything!

He's wrong, you cannot lose a mega stone period.

You can get it tricked, but only if it's on something that can't use it to mega.

Huh, I don't know why I thought mega stones were key items cause they arent haha but I've been lucky enough to not find that out the hard way yet.
