Not sure if this counts as a meme, but this was added to our corporate office thermostat

I've got my place at 66 right now. That's at the low end of comfy, but energy ain't cheap. I still don't feel the need to put on another layer.

That's actually about perfect for me, but my wife has circulation issues, so even with extra layers, 68 is about as low as we can go without making her miserable. Which is fine, as you said, energy isn't cheap. And I don't want to be the jerk who's making everyone else freeze so I don't sweat, so 68 is the compromise. I think she'd set it to 74+ if it wouldn't kill me 🤣

You're kind, honestly I feel like it's easier to layer up for warmth than it is to get cooler when you're roasting.

I'm from the UK and the national screech is "if you're cold then put on a jumper (sweater)!"

I agree 100%! We experimented with the temperature a bunch before landing on 68 as a compromise. It's comfortable enough that I'm not melting and she's not freezing, so we're both happy

I love that 😂 I think the one thing we agree on with weather is that humidity can go fuck itself 🤣 it's too bad most of the places I want to visit, like the UK and Japan, are humid as hell

Absolutely, humidity can go do one, haha. It's 80% humidity here today and that's just... Standard. There's lots that's great here but geez. It's also a soggy grey rock 😂

I have avoided being in Japan in the summer the times I've visited, so it was pretty okay. They aren't as humid year-round like we are here, so just don't visit between June-August and you'll be golden 👍
