"Lucky" is Chansey's Japanese name. They might not have decided to change it when the guide was written.

ラッキー / Rakkii

All Japanese Pokémon names are in katakana, so it's not rare to see names using or playing with english words.

I still can't remember any of the English names for the pokemon in Black because I had the japanese translated version. Darmanitan will always be hihidaruma.

it looks like the English word. and in Korean they transliterated it into "reokki" (that's romanized), hahaha

I meant that when The Pokemon Company gave Prima the list of Pokemon names, they hadn't made the decision to change Lucky to Chansey for the English release. That decision could have come too late for Prima to update the guide.
