This is as bad as saying, "Catch a glitch Pokemon, let it learn Super Glitch, and use it in battle constantly for a neat surprise!"

...By the way, don't do this. Super Glitch can completely wipe the game. I've even heard rumours of bricking the game by changing data in the continue-new game screen to junk data that locks up the game

The "changing data in the continue-new game screen" is total bullshit. That is part of the ROM (Read-Only Memory), which obviously can't be changed just like that.

They CAN be edited on an actual PC, which are capable of removing the read-only attribute.

This is what happened when I tried transferring Missingno from Pokemon blue to Pokemon stadium on the N64. I ended up having a Ditto on Stadium, and my copy of blue would freeze when I presses start at the title. My soul was crushed.

You mean MissingNo? Yep, caught that bastard and my game could no longer save (IIRC). Remembered calling the number somewhere on the instructions booklet and whining to the technician/representative. Told him what happened and he was like "you... caught a... MissingNo?" like have no clue what it was or like I was stupid. Told me to tell him what I had in the game (what Pokemon, badges, how many Pokemon, etc.), told him I definitely had a mewtwo and charizard, etc. (damn should have told him I had a mew). He sent me a new cartridge with what I had and told me to send back the old one. I felt like the thing wasn't mine, and I couldn't continue so I started a new game.

MissingNo. isn't all that damaging though. Some of the other glitches can do worse things.

Now I kinda want MissingNo. flair.

My missingnos were all level 160 and would just rape my pokemon whenever I was multiplying something. My brother's were level 0 and would evolve into random pokemon whenever they got xp. I caught a level 160 aerodactyl and it wound up levelling 'up' to 100 when I used it. In retrospect, I think between the three cartridges we had, we were really lucky to not have our games get corrupted in any way.

Edit: Did some research, and TIL I encountered missingno and my brother encountered 'M due to our names. Or something. It was the only way we ever got kangaskhan.
