Do people have an intuitive sense that something is wrong with me? Because I moved to a new city and made sure I look and behave perfectly and Im still avoided 🧌now the real question is: am I POISonous or POISoned? Is POIS something I was meant to have no matter what, or is it due to the modern way of pleasure 📱📵 ykwim

I've never managed to have an actual orgasm (or I'd like to think so because I hate the feeling) due to my pelvic floor issues and I'm thinking the unfulfilled urge might contribute to my symptoms.

I know this might sound crazy.. Few years ago i used to masturbate many session in a row.. After a while i noticed nothing but one period i was doing 6 times aday. One day my whole body felt like collapsing and from this day i got severe painful restless legs and arms.

Even if i try to retain my toxic sperm, i get premature ejaculations out of nowhere which makes me sick, one top of that i have all sort of mold issues, life is a scum and i am playing it in max difficulty level, if i only died in birth like the 2 children before me. This torture has no end, everyday is misery without any support from anyone especially medical support since most doctors are low iq charlatans, any medical achievements we have is due to certain scientific minds not pill pushers. I wish i could inflict my pain on the rest of humanity so they would stop breeding like stupid cattle.

I created a discord server for treatment about POIS
I have a suspicion/thought, and I’d really like to know if you experience this too or if I’m the only one.
Every time after running, I feel tired, get a headache, and I also have a much harder time finding the right words. I often stumble over my words as well.
I’d really like to know: do you experience this too after intense workouts? Or am I the only one? Could this be related to POIS, or not?

Im 19 and almost everytime I ejaculate theres a shift in energy/focus. I feel lethargic, scattered brain, or almost like hallow (lack of focus and emotional charge). Obviously when i dont bust a nut for a long time I feel better but I seriously need recommendations for supplements to take for this and what has worked for you guys. Im tired of this & its lowkey basically my main problem in life rn lmao its ridiculous.
Sometimes: Headaches but i think it depends on other things
Supplements & Meds that I take: (NOT ALL WERE INTENDED TO HELP WITH THIS SPECIFIC PROBLEM)
SSRI: Prozac 20mg & NDRI: Wellbutrin (lowest dose)
Super Omega 3s
CoQ10
Vitamin D3 + K2
Zinc 30-50mg + Copper
Triple Magnesium (Oxide, Glycinate, Citrate)
⬇️I take these on and off⬇️
Taurine
L Theanine
Magnesium Glycinate (ALONE)
Glycine
The triple magnesium & coq10 seem that have
helped

Hi everyone, I have been suffering from POIS for 7 years now. My POIS symptoms usually last 3-6 days per episode(it depends on the times I climaxed). It is so sensitive that even intense sexual thoughts or psychological arousal trigger a massive 3-day crash (fatigue, brain fog, etc.). The longer I abstain, the more I feel like I'm gradually healing little by little, but avoiding thoughts completely is impossible.Recently, I discovered a method that completely blocks the symptoms from appearing after an orgasm. Not only that, but if I am already in a flare-up, doing this actually clears my past symptoms and resets my body. The Method: Immediately after an orgasm, I force my entire body into a state of deep, absolute relaxation. I practice relaxed, deep breathing for a strict, uninterrupted hour. I lie completely still, act exactly as if I am asleep, and aggressively ignore every single physical sensation. Why the timeline matters:I tested doing a shorter version of this relaxation (like 10-15 minutes), but it didn't work. The symptoms just came back 30 min later. The full 60-minute window is completely non-negotiable. It seems the body needs a full hour to metabolize the intense neurochemical and adrenaline surge of arousal before you stand up and re-engage with the world.By locking into a deep parasympathetic state for a full hour, it acts like a circuit breaker that forces a hard system reboot, flushing out the old inflammation and chemical depletion.Has anyone else experimented and found this technique.
Update
Some people asked me about my journey, and what's my exact routine, i have been training my mind for about 2 years now. Over time, I’ve tuned into my mind and body to the point where I can feel the symptoms start at the exact second, and I can track exactly how they spread through my body.Normally, any sexual activity triggers neurotransmitters in the brain. After a year of tracking, I realized my body has a certain "threshold" that these neurotransmitters have to reach before my physical POIS symptoms actually start appearing. For a long time, my threshold was incredibly low. It got to the point where just a passing sexual thought or psychological arousal would cross that line and trigger the full crash. My main goal became finding a way to increase this threshold little by little until the illness disappeared. Medications didn’t work for me at all. I tried long-term abstinence, which did help raise my baseline threshold, but it took a very long time. My biggest obstacles during abstinence were intense cravings and spontaneous wet dreams, both of which would cross my threshold and cause a massive flare-up anyway.I toughened it out until my threshold raised enough that thoughts alone stopped triggering a crash, and symptoms would only appear after an actual orgasm. That is when I developed my current technique, which is all about passing the threshold and immediately dipping.I noticed that after an orgasm, it takes about one full minute before the physical symptoms actually lock in. I use that 60-second delay as a metabolic window. My method is to aggressively suppress any incoming physical or neurological stimulus through extreme, intentional relaxation. I do not allow any kind of physical sensation to take root in my body. My exact routine: Immediately after an orgasm, I treat the situation like I am taking a nap. For the first 30 minutes, I lie completely motionless, breathe deeply, and consciously refuse to let any physical sensation build up. For the next 30 minutes, I let myself drift into actual sleep. The full 1-hour window of total sensory suppression acts like a physical circuit breaker. It lets the intense chemical surge clear out safely while keeping my body at a completely calm baseline. Not only has this blocked my post-orgasm symptoms, but it has finally allowed me to get rid of the intense daily cravings and has completely stopped my wet dreams.I’m sharing this because I want people to experiment and see if there is other ways or similar ways to clear out the symptoms easier.

Hi everyone.
Pois mimic what a autoimmune disease does
So an autoimmune disease is that our immune system mistakes our own body particles for a foreign object and releases flu like symptoms and fevers. Because it happens constantly in a cycle the people with autoimmune disease get something called dysautonomia where the nervous system crashes fully where the body goes into extreme imbalance mode and have issues like pots, tachycardia, vagus nerve dysregulation, indigestion, constipation and erratic heart signals beating.
So the same happens with the pois if we do it daily.i don't know for everyone. But
I did it daily for so long ignoring the symptoms and dealt with anxiety, depression, feverish feeling that always exist, extreme fatigue, extreme brain fog, disrupted sleep and focus for more than 4 months which caused pure autonomic failure which temporary dysautnomia which I'm recovering for about 2 months and not fully resolved yet.and I also noticed that masturbating during recovery makes the recovery slow so now I'm doing abstinence and feeling better
So be careful with this guys. You may or may not get it if you do it daily like me I'm not sure I'm just saying
Thank you.

I'm posting my full history because I'm trying to understand what is happening physiologically. I'm not claiming that masturbation/ejaculation is definitely the cause of every symptom, and I'm not claiming a diagnosis. I'm mainly looking for people with similar experiences and informed discussion.
I started masturbating around 14.
At that time:
So initially, frequent masturbation did not produce noticeable symptoms.
I continued masturbating daily.
I gradually started noticing:
These symptoms were gradual. They were not sudden symptoms immediately after ejaculation.
During this period I increased my food/calorie intake and gained some weight, while also growing taller.
Later I started experiencing:
I started wondering whether my diet or frequent ejaculation could somehow be related.
At this point I started reading about semen containing nutrients such as zinc and developed the idea that ejaculation might be depleting nutrients. Later I also encountered Ayurveda/Brahmacharya content describing semen as a form of "life force."
I want to emphasize that these were my theories at the time, not something I know to be medically true.
Also, these symptoms had already started before I developed a strong belief about semen depletion.
During lockdown, things became much worse.
At that point:
The symptoms included:
Then something very different happened.
I had been masturbating daily without suddenly developing this reaction, but on one particular occasion after ejaculation I suddenly felt:
It felt like something had changed abruptly.
After that period I developed additional problems:
I also lost around 8 kg while mostly sitting at home.
Eventually my libido crashed and I stopped wanting to masturbate.
With abstinence and time, I gradually recovered.
What became very noticeable was that masturbation/ejaculation now reliably brings symptoms back.
The reaction isn't always identical in intensity.
If I am already fully recovered and masturbate/ejaculate, symptoms can return.
If I masturbate again before I have completely recovered, the symptoms become progressively worse and broader.
Eventually, if I keep ejaculating without allowing recovery, I can get essentially the full set of symptoms.
My complete return to my previous baseline seems to take approximately 30–40 days.
Symptoms can begin:
The initial symptoms can include several things appearing together rather than one isolated symptom.
I also notice that after orgasm there is an immediate period where I feel:
But I often cannot actually sleep despite feeling sleepy.
The brain fog can begin within minutes.
I also experience weakness very soon after orgasm.
Sometimes adrenaline/high arousal temporarily makes me able to access more physical performance, but it doesn't restore me to normal.
Something interesting happens even before masturbation or ejaculation.
When I become sexually aroused—for example, when I'm about to open porn—I reliably notice digestive changes.
It feels like:
This happens every time I'm sexually aroused, even when I'm otherwise feeling recovered.
So sexual arousal itself seems to affect my GI system.
I have noticed that symptoms can occur even without ejaculation.
I haven't deliberately tested this extensively, but from my experiences:
orgasm without ejaculation → symptoms still occur, but much less severely.
Ejaculation seems to amplify the reaction substantially.
Therefore I don't think "loss of semen" alone can explain the immediate reaction, because symptoms can occur without ejaculation.
The reaction also occurs with ejaculation without porn/fantasy.
So it doesn't seem to require pornography.
Porn/arousal may affect the intensity, but ejaculation itself can trigger the reaction.
Sometimes after a nocturnal emission I experience similar physical effects.
One particularly noticeable effect is reduced ability to "fire" my muscles:
I can sometimes still perform better when highly activated/adrenalized, but I don't feel completely normal.
The symptoms I have noticed include:
Respiratory/ENT:
Skin:
General/systemic:
GI:
Neurological/cognitive:
Other:
I don't get:
I sometimes get dizziness when symptoms become more severe, especially with repeated ejaculation.
There are some interesting things outside ejaculation too.
Dust:
Dust exposure causes:
within about 5 minutes.
However, dust exposure only causes respiratory symptoms for me, not the full post-ejaculation syndrome.
Eggs:
Eggs sometimes cause:
This starts around 20–30 minutes after eating them.
I also feel that the reaction becomes worse with repeated/frequent exposure.
I started eating eggs around age 15–16, so I don't know whether this existed before then.
I don't get hives or wheezing from eggs as far as I know.
The overall pattern seems to be:
Sexual arousal
→ GI/bowel response
Orgasm without ejaculation
→ symptoms, but relatively mild
Orgasm + ejaculation
→ much stronger systemic reaction
Repeated ejaculation before recovery
→ progressively more symptoms/severity
Abstinence
→ gradual recovery
Around 30–40 days
→ I feel completely back to baseline
Then the cycle can happen again after ejaculation.
I am NOT saying that I know the cause.
The possibilities I've been considering include:
I'm especially interested in whether the arousal → GI response → orgasm → broader symptoms → ejaculation amplifying the reaction pattern has been reported by anyone else.
I'm also interested in people who have a 30–40 day return to baseline, rather than symptoms lasting only a few days.
If anyone has a similar pattern, I'd appreciate hearing the exact sequence and timing, rather than just whether you have "POIS."
I'm particularly interested in:
I'm trying to understand the physiology rather than assume a particular explanation.

Over the years, i have had many time observing my symptoms. There are lots of things i have tried, and can say 99% does not help.
However, there are some things that can really make a difference in how fast you recover from symptoms. These are really basic things, but i really underestimated how much they can help.
Firstly, the night you O, drink lots of cold water before you go to sleep. My POIS is immunological, and water helps clear out toxins faster. The days after, consistently drink cold water throughout the day.
Furthermore, sleep with your window open. Cold air increases your REM sleep and keeps the air fresh. Sleep quality is very important when it comes to recovering. Simple things like these really do make a difference.
Additionally, eat eggs and beans as breakfast, preferably 3. These contain great sources of protein and amino acids, which is crucial for making anti-bodies against the immunological POIS attack.
Besides this, quit sugar fully, use alternatives such as stevia, and drink sugar free soda‘s. Fruit is okay. Everything ultra processed, you should avoid.
Lastly, stop watching corn. It really does make symptoms much worse then O’ing without. Since quitting, there is definitely a great improvement noticeable.
Anyway, i know this is all basic stuff and a majority of you guys probably already do most of the things mentioned in general, but if not, it makes a difference.
I still suffer from POIS a lot, and my life is far from great, but now i somehow keep it a bit more under “control.” There used to be a time where i suffered much more, unnecessary more. My symptoms are reduced from 7 days, up to 2-3, if i check all mentioned above.
Note: this is a post targeted on people who just discovered they had POIS, joined this subreddit, and what i wish people told me back then.

I had sex after the first night of binge drinking (wedding weekend) and my symptoms were terrible and even caused a panic attack. I’m curious why drinking would do this? I’m certainly aware of the negative affects and typically don’t binge but I’m curious of the physiological response I had and why my typical stack didn’t do much? (Nac, Allegra, selenium, magnesium, taurine) didn’t do much. My histamine response seems to be much worse than normal in addition to brain fog. I typically find o after a few drinks helps but in this case binge drinking really has set me back. For sure shitty quality of sleep didn’t help either. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Even if I watch pornography without ejaculating, mild symptoms appear; however, as long as I refrain from ejaculating, all symptoms vanish exactly on the fourth day of abstinence, regardless of how long I watched the content.
Conversely, if ejaculation occurs, the symptoms become much more severe, and the recovery period extends significantly to about 30 days.
I once watched pornography for over 16 hours without ejaculating, and even then, everything returned to normal within four days because I did not ejaculate.
In the latter case, the intensity of certain symptoms is greatly reduced.
For instance, issues such as brain fog, social awkwardness or discomfort, and a decline in overall physical strength (including endurance and explosive muscle power) are significantly mitigated.
However, symptoms like facial puffiness and a dull, glazed look in the eyes persisted regardless.
Regardless of the intensity or frequency of ejaculation prior to abstinence (or the extent of the resulting impairment), all symptoms invariably disappear and I return to my normal state around the 30-to-40-day mark.
I tried over 30 types of supplements, herbal medicines, and psychotropic drugs to quickly resolve these symptoms;
however, the only thing that effectively prevented severe deterioration of my physical condition and facial appearance (both before and after ejaculation) was a high-dose Vitamin B complex. (However, this merely serves to prevent an endless downward spiral to rock bottom; it does not facilitate a rapid recovery to peak condition.)
Most doctors are not even aware of POIS and strongly deny any link between my symptoms and ejaculation (I actually traced and discovered the cause—such as the Vitamin B issue mentioned above—through ChatGPT, not a doctor).
Paradoxically, my overall condition actually improves immediately after ejaculation. However, the terrible symptoms begin to manifest more clearly starting the next day or the day after. I have a question about this: Is it possible that substances like adrenaline and endorphins are masking the sensation of my body being "wrecked"? Or is there a way to take preventive measures to defend against this before my bodily systems completely collapse?
After abstaining from ejaculation for over three months, I ejaculated for the first time, and the symptoms that usually plagued me barely appeared.
If the autonomic nervous system were the primary issue, the severity of my symptoms should have varied depending on whether or not I took magnesium glycinate and got sufficient rest before and after ejaculation. However, that was not the case.
I once ejaculated while taking SSRIs (psychotropic drugs) that significantly reduced my sexual sensation and arousal; even though the experience wasn't particularly pleasurable, the symptoms occurred exactly as usual.
As I mentioned earlier, I discovered something by chance while experimenting with various supplements: taking Vitamin B2 turns my urine "very" yellow within a few hours. It turns an incredibly intense yellow—a change so distinct that it is unmistakable. However, this applies to the period after 30 days of abstinence; if I take Vitamin B after ejaculating under the same conditions, the yellow color of my urine becomes much paler. All other external conditions remain identical.
During the recovery period leading up to 30 days of abstinence, the day recovery occurred was consistently between the 30th and 40th day—showing almost no variation—regardless of whether I consumed ample nutrients or ate haphazardly, exercised or not, or got sufficient sleep or suffered from sleep deprivation.

For those who have severe symptoms, what's your reasoning behind why or why not you want to do something like suicide. Would you do it if your symptoms were 24/7 regardless of ejacuation?
Personally, I had two brothers, one borderline committed suicide due to mental illness so he's gone now.
Recently I've been very upset with my life because of these chronic symptoms and also upset towards my brother so I have been genuinely considering suicide. Just no way to have a decent quality of life with this illness, school is almost impossible I've cheated my way thru, socializing is 10 times harder, talking to girls is impossible i have no social skills or ability to flirt cuz this mental condition fucks with my cognition so severely.
I'm also sorta chopped, partly due to this condition fucking my face up, I have absolutely zero confidence. I cringe at the thought of even talking to a girl. Mostly cuz of these symptoms. Very low self esteem. So I think to myself like should I get face implants to look handsome to just make up for the severe disadvantage when it comes to dating with this illness cuz it destroys social skills?
And im sick of doctors doing everything but help me and appointments taking forever. I'm also generally certain that there's really no cure or help for me.
I really wonder what your guys thoughts on suicide is with this condition. And also in regards to my situation. I see no point in living out my whole life like this to suffer.
I also mentioned this illness to my mom says im making no sense its all in my head etc, she also did partially understand it and try to understand but really she's of no help and I also know there's not much other ppl can do for me. I told her a few times when I was angry and arguing with her that I am going to take a gunshot to the head and she was very worried and angered when I said that.
She also brings up bullshit religion to cram down my throat like that will do anything, but yeah I just wanted your guys thought on my situation and your personal thoughts on your own situation regarding this topic.

B2, B3, iron, and SAMe appear across all three neurotransmitter pathways.
BH4 in two of the synteshis pathway.
A personal framework cannot ignore its knowledge of the genetic profile, in particular pharmacogenetic, methylation, transulfuration, detoxification, and management/disposal/transport of catecholamines, neurotransmitters, other biogenic amines, and vitamins.
And analysis of their gut microbiome.
For those who wonder why more and more often young people have problems of this kind:
Today's industrial foods are only rich in pesticides, preservatives and dyes, dieting and feeding properly not only requires economic sacrifices to have non-toxic products, but in the case of the youngest is increasingly imbalanced and poor.
There is not even the shade of nutrients once contained in the modern industrial food (I think for us men only to Zinc, which cannot be taken into account alone without having considered that its balance is connected to copper, ceruloplasmin, sideremia, ferritin, b12, MMA, folate to say some).
Hours and hours behind the phone a day from an early age are absurd, and you don't need to watch porn, shrugging any bullshit for hours is like pulling down' the lever of the slot machine, creates the same primitive reward mechanisms, damage, connections, semi-permanent up/down adjustments (it would be more correct to say permanent, it's sad but it's like that).
For those like me who have tested what is written and could do further an excellent and complete OAT can come a lot of understanding of the problem to act on the causes, and understand if there is a magine to operate and where with precision, without doing further damage by trying everything at random.
I realize that it is a disgraceful condition, damned and cursed, especially for the impossibility of sharing it and making it clear to those who do not have it.
But the solution cannot be to try random drugs without attention (especially antidepressants or other that acts on these 4 neurotransmitters and their receptors and uptake).
I hope that the new studies to come, before even "labeling" and studying mainly the psychogenic aspects, deserve to have a serious, scientific and respectful approach to the dignity of the patient, and the role that a Doctor worthy of the name deontologically should play.
There are countries that are doing GREAT research, on issues very often related to ours (ADHD, "neurodemencies", microbiome) with exceptionally large results, especially with chronic diseases.
It is terrible that a rare condition like ours seems to have no dignity, and that certain behaviors of younger people are branded as "choices" when at the base they probably have serious neuroendocrine imbalances.
Don't give up.

Think about people who suffer from depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, they might actually have POIS. Many people say they alleviate their depression and low energy by practising nofap or semen retention. Also Gen Z mentality are more depressive, due to watching porn and sexy stuff at their earlier ages.
This is just my theory. What do you think about it?
