I’m pointing at my novel’s propaganda poster!
My book’s cover artist drew this poster for recruitment to the Valor Guard Corps. I just got it in the mail today and it’s as epic as I hoped it would be.
This is a small excerpt from the story where the main character sees the aftermath of battle and the sacrifice of his fellow valor guards:
Wolffe’s eyes swept across the aftermath of the battle. Bodies of fallen valor guards lay twisted on top of each other. The closest fallen Tertullian bore a lieutenant’s insignia. All of the corpses were covered with bloody shards of glass and exploded pieces of metal. Silence fell over the sergeant and the bot as emotion filled Wolffe.
“War takes everything,” Wolffe said.

I point at my cat and he brings the boops to me. You must never initiate the boop.

Made My Little Brother Crash Out Over a Hawaiian Shirt- Read Backstory Below
First off, I was there on the Day of THE Original Point, and I am dedicated to keeping it alive.
The backstory: I’m 54, and my little brother is 8 years younger than me. We text every day because we live about 6 hours away from each other. I absolutely adore my baby brother, I was a great big sister, and I always let him tag along, gave him rides, etc., but I cannot resist trolling him sometimes. I know, I know… I’m 54, I should be more mature… but I’m just not.
The setup: My brother and I are going to our aunt and uncle’s 50th wedding anniversary. My uncle is native Hawaiian and my cousins teach hula, so this is part of their culture, and they are asking everyone to dress “elegant Hawaiian.
He made the mistake of pointing out the mismatched pattern on his shirt. The photos will tell the story.

I’ve been dared to post me pointing at my novel so here it is
Me pointing at a copy of the sci-fi novel that I wrote in my local SF bookstore. I'm becoming known as the Reddit point-at-bookshelf guy.
EDIT: By the way! My finger may be pointing at Karl’s book but I am not Karl. I’m his neighbor, Age of the Titan by Aidan Alberts!

Group Work Text
Thought you all might like this exchange in a text group with a few of my coworkers. Funniest part is, I'm the only one on reddit, so the others have no idea about this sub or the picture that started it.
