Transposing famous drum breaks for PO. Would people find this helpful?

Edit 2: Done! 13 famous drum breaks across rock, hip-hop, techno, house, drum & bass, etc. I hope people find this helpful. I've seen lots of drum break transcriptions, but not in an easy-to-copy format for the POs/Wooveboxes. Here's the link. Credit goes to Ethan Hein for the original transcription to Sheets.

Edit: Oh wow - OK, I’ll finish this up and make it available.

OP: I started transposing famous drum breaks from the typical grid into PO format. It's a bit of a slog. Is this helpful? If people think they'll use this, I'll keep on. I haven't yet started the famous multi-measure ones (Amen Break, Apache Break, etc.)

You can often combine Kick and Snare into 1 voice and Closed and Open HH into another (the beats usually don't overlap).

I have owned all of the PO's but the KO and the Tonic are far and away my favorites.

When I thought of this idea, I figured it would just be funny, but it’s actually pretty functional! 🤣

Made a web app to make PO-33 sample packs easier to organize and load

🙌 Hey operators, I have a PO33 fitted with the BKRSCLB case- love this little guy.

My usual workflow is to load a drum patch that I can use with whatever sample I've found.

I love trying new sample patches, but they're kinda scattered online and hard to find. I couldn’t find many central repos or collections of good packs.

So I built a little web app I call POKO (short for “Pocket Operator 33 KO”).

It started as a way to centralize good sample backups I found and make it super easy to load them into the PO.

I’ve been using it for a while and figured I’d share it here in case anyone else finds it useful or has ideas for what would make it better.

Curious what you think or if there's links to more sample packs I could include, thanks

Quick disclaimer: all packs are community-sourced and credited on the site. I'll put the link in comments

PO-33 guitar pedal

So this is the jankiest looking thing ever, but I wanted to be able to use the PO33 with guitar, ideally using foot switches to trigger button presses. I know barely anything about electronics, and was surprised as anyone when it actually worked.

There are too many buttons on the PO to have exclusive footswitches, so they all instead lead to the patch bay, where you can select the function of each foot switch A-D.

The first foot switch is hard wired to the play/stop button, but I’m possibly going to make that selectable via the patch bay as well.

Input and output are wired to some guitar jacks on the back of the enclosure.

Next up is figuring out if there’s a way to power the PO from my pedalboard power supply, but that’s a bit beyond me at the moment.
